Photo of the product on the cream colored bed isû not the product you will be getting, big suprise right! Description of the product states the slats are spaced a few inches apart. To me "A few" means 3 inches. I received the sturdier heavy duty slats today and as I am putting them on my bed I notice they are spaced more than a few inches apart. Measured the space in between as 5 and 5/8 inches apart. That is almost 6 inches of space not supporting my mattress. I should have known with the price being significantly cheaper than other products Amazon sells. I already have metal slats on my bed with that much distance between. Heavy duty slats nearly 6 inches apart from one another. Thats hardly heavy duty. I have definately learned that you never get a good deal on anything. You get what you pay for. These are going back because I'm not paying $70 or even $5 to get the same support for my mattress that I already have. If you weigh less than 100 pounds these heavy duty slats should work for you.
