    • These don't fit inside my half sheet pans...
Yes, I realize the dimensions are in the description... and they are accurate. For occassional light use, these are probably fine. They do have some issues: 1. They don't fit inside my half sheet pans... slightly too long to fit within the rim and too narrow to be a good fit width wise. If you want to raise something off of the pan while cooking, they will work, but the rack will sit on the pan on one side and on the rim of the opposite side, so the roast or whatever you're cooking won't be level or stable. If you need to turn a half sheet pan with a big roast on it this rack isn't a good choice as it can shift and you might burn yourself trying to keep the hot pan balanced. 2. At the seams there are places where the wire grid isn't even but it doesn't affect anything other than the cosmetics. 3. These feel cheap and are extremely light. They are fine for occassional very light baking but if you will use them frequently there are far better cooling trays that will last much longer. I'm returning these for a larger sturdier option... These work fine for occassional or light baking but if you bake daily or in large quantities the bigger more durable racks are important. ... show more

    • Extremely sturdy and perfect for making jerky in the oven
This little guy has a lot of sturdiness to it. It fits in perfectly inside my largest cookie/flat sheet and will allow the air and heat to circulate around the beef jerky strips I am making for my dogs. It's also perfect for drying snack sticks and I am sure a host of other things including the pepperoni I am making. Unlike the wire cooling racks you find in big box stores and dollar stores, the welds are perfect on this and it also has great weight to it as well. Spray it with a light coat of cooking oil and nothing will stick to it. I foresee a lot of use out of this, and the price point was perfect. I have spent way more then this on the dollar store and big box store racks which I have ended up tossing because they break too easily. The 1/4 inch cross mesh stops jerky and snack sticks from falling through, and it has 6 feet to support it in the pan. All in all a great purchase for the price. Once I get some jerky and snack sticks made I will upload some pictures. ... show more

    • not quite the right size to fit in my 1/2 sheet pan
Lightweight. It's a little too long and more narrow than my 1/2 sheet jelly roll sheets. It will still work for me, but I had hoped to get a larger cooking surface than my current racks. I cook meats and frozen food by putting them on a wire rack that sits in the jelly roll pan. I put a 1/2 sheet of baking paper under the rack for easy clean up afterwards. (You can get a box of full sheet baking paper at a business Costco or other cooking supply store that will last you a life time.) ... show more

    • LOW TECH LAPTOP COOLER
Keeping a laptop cool can save on repairs/extend laptop life, I use a fan under my older hot running PC. When I needed two PCs I worried about keeping two fans in good repair. Luckily the newer PC was merely warm so I looked for a computer cooling rack. The only ones I found were $500 tower racks. As a baker, I thought of using this.     • Fits large aluminum trays perfectly
Bought this as a rack for inside the large aluminum trays. Fits perfect, sprayed with canola oil to season, and baked. Makes clean up easy, wash, dry, use again. And again. Let me know when you make another with larger grates.

    • Sharp edges and cheap construction
Be aware that the edges aren’t finished completely. There are quite a few sharp nodules that need filed off. I cut my thumb on it when I was taking it out of the package. It also has poor structural integrity; some of the cross wires are loose.
