Let’s be honest. No one needs to spend $300 on a self-cut mirror system. Any cheap $20 wall/door mounted tri-fold mirror will work just fine for most. However, if you want the best in terms of looks, features, quality and convenience (and don’t mind paying a premium for it), then the Self-Cut Angel Lights Tripod system may be for you. The tripod stand is super-sturdy. Definitely no unwanted movement/wobbling of the mirror when it is mounted on the tripod and everything is properly tightened down. The integrated LED lights are dimmable and extremely bright. With a full charge, the LED lights last just over 3-1/2 hours at full brightness. So, you should be able to get at least 3-4 grooming/cutting sessions, before needing to recharge the batteries. The adjustable/removable shelf is also a nice touch and provides a convenient place to store some of your tools. For me, the best part of this mirror system is the ability to move & use it anywhere I want. No power cords needed since the LED lights are battery powered, and of course, the tripod stand means you can put it anywhere you want. I’m really loving this self-cut system!

I’ve been using the King’s Mirror for a while, and it’s been a solid tool with LED strips on all three panels. But I just got the Self-Cut System’s Angel Lights 360 Mirror setup, and my first impression is that it’s a big upgrade. The lighting is the first thing I noticed—it’s a full LED ring around each panel, not just strips like on the King’s Mirror. It gives much more even and brighter coverage, making it easier to see what I’m doing when I’m working on fades and lineups. The tripod setup is also a huge step up. It’s sturdy and height-adjustable, so I don’t need to hang it on a door anymore. It’s nice to have the flexibility to set it up wherever I want. I did test out the wireless feature briefly, and it’s really convenient. The mirror charges quickly and held the charge well during my first use, so I’m looking forward to using it wirelessly more often. Overall, I’m really impressed right out of the box. The King’s Mirror served me well, but this feels like a next-level upgrade. If you’ve been using the King’s Mirror and are considering something new, the Angel Lights 360 Mirror setup is definitely worth checking out. It’s made my self-cuts feel smoother and more precise already, even just on first use.

Bought this twice same issue TWICE!!! The mirror quality is outstanding compared to others on the market and the selfcut predecessors. The tripod stability is sufficient as well. However, the mirror lights are defective and unreliable. I used the mirror once when I first received it and the next week the mirror would not turn on at all even after charging for hours on end. *EDIT (updated was not an individual issue and occurred again with second mirror purchase) Again, this could be a defect in this individual mirror but I would be extremely cautious in purchasing something this expensive and it not even last a week. I have reached out to the manufacturer and have received little to no correspondence and have had to push for a resolution and/or replacement. This does not make this experience any better. If you didn’t need the lights and just care for the tripod and mirror quality, then go for it. If you need the lights like me and have the same experience, this product is rendered useless. Use your best judgment.

The media could not be loaded. To start off I have had their Black Lambo mirror for 3-4 years now and although that was a good product, this mirror is a big improvement ( a game changer ). The mirror itself is high quality, and the casing feels durable rugged scratch resistant. The mirror has built-in in lights which are dimmable, rechargeable, and can be used without being plugged in. The tripod is another improvement over previous mirrors whereas previous mirrors you would rely on hanging them over doors. With the tripod you can set up anywhere you want, and you dont have to stand either. Since the tripod is height adjustable you can sit whilst you cut your hair. There is also a tray attachment for your clippers/trimmers and guards or other tools. The mirror has an opening where the tripod snaps into, and a release button to remove the mirror from the tripod. It's a geat product all in all.

Gave this to my husband as part of his birthday gift & he absolutely loved it. We stay in an apartment & the bathroom lighting is crappy so he liked that the fact that there’s a light that can be adjusted to a bright setting and that the mirrors allowed him to see what he was doing from multiple angles. Although my husband & I thought it was a great product I have to give it 3 stars because the mirror light stop working after 2 months.
