I originally wanted this under the seat of a jeep gladiator but it didn't fit under as much as I wanted so I put them behind the back seat and they fit great and sound awesome! It's not chest thumping bass but it's a perfect balance with the stock speakers. I have it turned down so it doesn't over power the rest of the sound. I got one, it lasted 4 days before it blew. They replaced it, that one lasted 4 weeks before the amp was stuck in protect mode. Didn't sound the greatest either. It don't hit the low lows. The internals are assembled with bad quality. They sound good while they last. But they don't last long

I bought this item and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting too much but thought that the price made the chance worth it! Got the speaker and got an install kit. After installing the speaker under my passenger seat and playing it, I was thoroughly impressed! It was crisp and loud bass and did more than what I expected it too! I wasn’t looking to make my car audio too loud, just wanted stronger bass because when I purchased my new car it wasn’t the same as the previous one! I was hoping that this would match what I used to have in old car and I got so much more. So much in fact that when my wife heard it she said, “when are you going to put one in my Jeep?” I ordered a second one and I installed it yesterday! Both speakers worked great!!!! ... show more

Im giving it a 3 because it was great at first, then after about a month, it sounded the the speaker inside the enclosure itself was vibrating, then, the speaker itself blew. mind you, i used an 8 guage wire for power and that somehow blew the speaker. is a great purchase if you just want to hear what your vehicle sounds like with a decent sub for a few months! ... show more

While this unit did not fit under my car seat because it is a 1969 Mustang Mach 1, my installer was able to add a piece of wood and mount it in my trunk. It took up very little space and sounds great. I was not looking for earth-shattering BOOM, but more of a fuller sound without distortion. This unit gave me more bass than I was expecting from a unit at this price point. Inside the car it sounds awesome and outside of this old classic car there is now rattling noise. After doing a lot of research and comparing several units I finally picked this one due to its vented ported design which other units did not have. First unit lasted 3 days and wouldn't work at all. Returned for replacement and 2nd unit lasted 3hrs and quit working too
