School wanted us to pay a lot for the tam & gown. This one was a much better, reasonable price, and looks really nice. I just bought my hood separately at the bookstore.

I graduated from FSU so I wanted a gown with garnet and gold. This is perfect. The material is thinner than I expected but the quality is really good. It falls right below my knees and is about 7 or 8 inches away from my ankles. I'm small 5'2', 115 lbs so it is large on my body. I considered ordering a longer gown but I don't want it to be too big. I ordered a small...unfortunately, it is made for someone short who is much larger than me. The shoulders look like there are football pads underneath, and they will not go down. I am disappointed. Hoping to find a colleague who can use it. The tam is nice, thus the two stars.

It was true to size. You could order a size down for a closer fit. The thickness of the material was just right. The velvet on the arms and gold trim were finely detailed. The tam was also high quality with velcro to adjust size. I was beyond pleased with the quality, design, attention to detail and the speed with which it was shipped. I highly recommend this seller.
