These chairs are beautiful to look at and beautifully constructed. They are also truly comfortable with just the right back support. The rocking motion is limited as other reviewers have noted but maybe it will loosen up over time. My husband, who assembled four chairs and two tables said the quality of the hardware provided and of the furniture itself compares to products made in the fifties and almost unheard of nowadays. They even provided little covers to hide the screws and finish off the chairs to a nicety. He had one suggestion: If the screws, which have a very fine thread (another sign of quality), could be slightly tapered on the end, it would make it much easier to get the screw started. Although assembly was not the easiest (there were times I had to hold a flashlight so he could see the screw holes), he was able to do most of the assembly single handed. Final verdict? The minor difficulties were well worth the time and effort to end up with such great tables and chairs.

First let me say that I had to take away one star for a couple of things. The decorative covers for the screws under the arms don’t fit. The screw is up against the arm so there’s no way it’s going to fit. The other thing is that one of the Velcro straps for the cushion was put on wrong so I had to twist it to make it work. If it weren’t for those issues I would definitely give the set five stars. It’s a great set and very comfortable and sturdy. Only time will tell how it holds up on our front porch.

Wanted something a little more comfortable and practical than bench I had. These were perfect. very comfortable with gentle spring action. Very simple to assemble. All holes and parts lined up easily. Parts are blister sealed to make losing them difficult and came with alum wrench, only tool needed. Cushions were well finished and fit well. Chair is deep enough to allow for a couple decorative pillows. Only down side was UPS lost first set I ordered. How do you lose a 79 pound box that had tracking? Replacement through Amazon was easy and fast. Very, very pleased with this purchase.
