It was pretty easy to install (lower anchors, rear facing) as long as you read the manual. The price is not too high at all. It's obviously much bigger than an infant car seat but it fit well in our 2022 Nissan Kicks. Unfortunately, there are no anchors in the middle so it did have to go on a side seat but I didn't feel like I was pushed up too much when sitting in the front with it behind me.
