When installed properly, these shower handles adhere to shower tiles very tightly. However, introduction of water to the periphery of suction cups greatly reduces adhesion. For example, after a 5-min shower session, the shower handles slipped when held down moderately. To mitigate the problem, treated suction cups with the WD-40 water repellant when they and tile surfaces were dry. Now, the suction seems little compromised even after several shower sessions. This is a great product. I have felt so secure getting in and out of the shower. I have used them over a week. They were easy to install. Also, I liked them so much — we ordered a set for my husband’s shower.

Pretty good deal as I only needed one but comes in a pack of two. Very sturdy and serves the purpose! In the time that I have used this the suction has released once only on one side. May not have been tight enough from the start.

Edited 3-9-23: After placing the review, the company came out and quickly supported trying to fix the problem and was very flexible on replacing or refunding the product. ***** 5 starts for customer service! So recently I had a skiing accident and I need help getting into the shower without crutches.. I found these online. I purchased 2 sets. The second picture shows the one outside the shower on the threshold. This one has been up over a week and has been perfect. no resetting. The handles are large and very easy to grip. Now the three others around the shower have to be reset every time I use the shower. HOWEVER, once they are set they work for the whole time I am in the shower (I take 20-25min showers) since the accident (ok well before too, lol). One of the three in the shower falls off every day. the others lose suction on one of the two. Honestly, I resuction them when I take a shower and they work perfectly.....So for the price and if you check them for each shower, then I say buy them but YOU MUST CHECK AND IF NEEDED RESET before using each time which takes 2 seconds to reset, literally.
