I ordered these for our guest bathroom. My MIL will be staying here and I realized she needed these to get out of the shower (which has a tub). My husband installed it on the wall just outside the shower. He needed to get a different drywall anchor because the ones that were included wouldn't have kept it stable. Other than that, installation was relatively easy. Unfortunately the place where we needed it didn't have any studs handy, so it's just in the drywall. The bar itself is sturdy. It's thinner (narrower) than ones you'd find in say a handicapped restroom. I feel like it if were a bit thicker and came away from the wall a bit more, it would seem more stable. It should work fine as long as no one puts their full weight on it. We've installed it in such a way that it provides something to help a person stabilize themselves to pull themselves out of the shower. I'm thinking we may install the other one beside the toilet to have as a support for my MIL to stand up. Overall I'd say these are a decent value. Just know that you may need a separate drywall anchor and that they're somewhat small (measure and look at where you'll have them). ... show more

I just was not happy with these Winllingal Grab Bars for Bathtubs and Showers 2 Pack 16 Inch- Safety Bathroom Handicap Grab. They appeared very flimsy and thin. They just appeared not strong enough.

It was lighter than I expected but after putting it together was solid. Loved the knearled finish. Keeps the hands from sliding on the bar. Came with all the hardware needed to install it. Looks good but better than that works great.
