Put two of these in our shower. We always check to make sure they are stuck before getting in, they have a red indicator the shows if they are not. Had one in place for over a month and it is still on the wall solid and the other for about three weeks with no issue. They are nice and solid. Have to put them together and it takes all of a minute maybe. If they do fall off, they are heavy enough to hurt. We spent the money on quality vs plastic junk.

I placed bar on side of shower to help get off shower seat after knee replacement. The shower walls are smooth not tiled. The huge suction cups hold very tight and I re apply the bar every two weeks. Therapy is about over and thanks to the suction cup don’t have holes in shower wall to patch

I bought one Sharon 17” grab bar. I always read the reviews starting with the bad reviews first then the best reviews last. I bought one and installed it in my shower. I followed the directions and cleaned the fiberglass shower stall and the face of the grab bar also! I then put pressure or the grab bar and pushed the locks down. I tried to pull the grab bar off and could not get it to release. I checked it every time I used the shower and it has not come loose yet. I then bought another one for the other end of the shower. My wife and I are very happy with the product!! I do not get paid or compensated in any way for this review

I've purchased inexpensive suction grab bars in the past and at some point they always failed. This time I decided to take a chance and try the more expensive one, mainly because it looked a bit more sturdy. Boy was I surprised when I installed it inside a fiberglass bathtub/shower stall. Once I had it positioned and installed I tried pulling as hard as I could and it didn't budge a silly little millimeter. I've tried several times since then and it is still staying solidly in place. I'd recommend this one and would purchase it again.
