Excellent peace of mind when letting out our pug. We do live out in the country but we are next to a two laned highway that people like to speed down. We don't have a full fenced in yard and I never heard of a GPS collar system. We use Satellite internet and we have a good signal out here so I figure this would work too. It does to my relief. I have used other static training collars in the past to correct excessive barking and just the beep followed by a vibration is usually enough to get his attention. He's learning slowly that now it's not just excessive barking but going to far from the house will stimulate the same response from the collar. We are in the process of finishing the fence but this is a nice substitute for now. It's easy to set up and use and bonus points for being waterproof.

I was excited for this. When my dog would come in house would loose connection for gps, when going outside it takes a couple minutes to reconnect. My purpose for this was to keep her from running away if she got out the door accidentally. When trying it out it randomly shocked my dog when she was inside the perimeter and not near the limit set. I was hopeful this was my fix of her running off if someone accidentally let her out the door

My dog used to take off running every time we went outside, and it made me nervous. I bought this pet containment collar, and it really helped with that issue. Setting it up was easier than I expected. I followed the instructions and set a safe play zone for him. Whether we’re in the park, at the beach, or in the yard, I can quickly adjust the area. The GPS signal has been steady with no dropouts, which is more reliable than a fence. The collar uses a smart three-step alert. First, it beeps, then vibrates, and finally gives a gentle static correction if needed. The levels go from 1 to 5 on their own, so I don’t have to change them. Now, my dog plays freely, and I’m not always chasing after him. It’s made our time outside more enjoyable.

This review is for the GPS Wireless dog fence system electric dog fence system collar for dogs. IT DOES NOT WORK!!! It is not because we don't know how to work new electronica because we are very tech savvy, We have tried everything to get it to work because we desperately needed it to work since we have a little escape artist of a dog. The problem is, because of a family crisis, this was put on the back burner , and we did not remember to try this until after the window closed for replacing or returning it. So, now we're stuck with it. The one good thing is that at the time of purchase, we got it for $16.99, and we were thrilled and a bit skeptical because other brands were much higher. But, we thought we had found a great deal. Imagine my surprise when I looked this product up today and see that the price has raised to $99.99!! This is terrible! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!
