I have spent nearly a week getting my cat used to wearing a collar and was finally able to test this out. It's gone. She pulled the collar off in my yard somewhere. I see the little dot on the screen but cannot locate it. You have to be within a few feet to use the beeping function, but it is so low, I can't hear it. I bought two of these, one for each cat, and I am not happy with my purchase. What is the point in a product that helps locate your cat when it doesn't have a loud enough volume to find it and the GPS signal is way off. The APP has a departure reminder, and I will receive a notification immediately once the vehicle moves. The positioning is very accurate, with almost no delay.     • The device works great as a tracker; app is not in Play store, so phone flags as bad
You have to scan the QR code and download their app. There was a very similar-looking an named app in the Google app store, but I couldn’t add the tracker in it. This is notable because my phone gave me some warnings about downloading from an unknown site and installing an unknown program, which might put some people off. You have to add the tracker in the app. Even though you can see the tracker if you go into the phone’s settings and attempt to add it from available Bluetooth devices, that won’t work. You have to do it in the app. After setting it up, I had my daughter take it to school with her and leave it in her backpack. I could see her general location on Google Maps in the app, and it was accurate. There did seem to be a several minute delay between updates, so it was not constantly updating me in real time. I don’t know how close it needs to be to an Apple device to pick up a signal and send it to me. We have an iPad at home, and I was able to see the device at home, and I am assuming there were lots of Apple devices at the school, but if it was a longer car ride from school to home, I don’t know if it would have lost its location in the car given that the person driving her home has an Android phone. At any rate, this seems to be an effective tracker and is pretty easy to use. It does take a battery, which is removable, so you can replace the battery whenever it dies. ... show more

This cat tag tracker works well for me. I downloaded the app, and it pairs perfectly well. This can prevent me from losing my item. Also, the location is accurate, and it also has the ring sounds. If I press the button, it will help me locate my item. Love it.

When I go out for a walk with my dog, I always worry that it will suddenly run away. This small tracker is just right for hanging on the dog's collar. Although it is not real-time positioning, the update frequency is enough. I will also put it in my key bag when I go out to buy groceries.
