It's small and adorable. I purchased it because my 5-year-old son has been wandering a lot lately, and I wanted to attach it to his bag. The Airtag has a relatively limited tracking range, so I'm thinking of getting a data SIM after researching on Google. I discovered that there are GPS-specific SIM cards available at some places, usable for a lifetime without monthly fees. Currently, I've experimented with a standard mobile phone SIM, and it functions well. When tracking, there are no sounds or blinking lights; it's very quiet. Although the test covers only a 1-2 mile distance, the location is accurately traced. Unless my son loses it or something similar happens, it appears to be quite useful.

I got this on a whim.. for reasons i don't feel comfortable sharing.. although it may have not been a necessary purchase.. it certainly works as advertised. It's also kinda creepy how small this thing is.. you could literally plant this thing anywhere.
