The media could not be loaded. Context: I needed a solution for shad on our deck, but nothing was strong enough to sustain the high winds we get. I bought this and set it up the 2nd week of July 2021. I had low expectations based on some of the negative reviews. I put it together with the help of my 7 and 5 year olds. I'd set the peices together and they'd set the screws and "pancakes" (washers). Once we had the roof portion finished my wife and I worked together to set up the legs. Pros: 1. simple directions, but you'll need good eyesight to read the screw IDs 2. Light weight materials 3. Went up without any issues at all 4. No additional tools needed Cons: 1. Easy to pinch fingers when putting peices together so be careful :) 2. It doesnt have a simple way to add mosquito netting or canopy drapes for additional shade/privacy, but I already knew that. Considerations: I added 30lbs sand bags to each leg and used zipties to secure 3 legs to the deck fencing. With out these precautions this canopy would have been blown away or damaged. Bottom line: This canopy is perfect for my needs. Since we bought it, we have had 5 storms with high winds and the canpy stands!

Two things I noticed literally right out of the box: it was very well packaged, and the welded ends of the supports didn’t have a lot of welding. Sure enough, literally 15 mins. into assembly, the first side bars I joined and lifted up, the welding broke. I didn’t drop it, didn’t put stress on it, it simply broke from its own weight. Such poor craftsmanship. I was disappointed I had to lug it to The UPS store alone, and, I kid you not, there was another one at UPS being returned. I was refunded promptly but overall very disappointed. Please do not buy this product.

We’ve only had this for a month or so. Bought to have some shelter and warmth when socially distancing. I’m very pleased with the stability of this. It’s NOT a pop up so it’s very sturdy and has so far held up to rains and snows (I make sure to knock the snow off the roof ASAP so it doesn’t get too heavy - we’ll see how well the top holds up). I don’t have a fenced in yard so I was afraid this could “walk away” but you’d really have to disassemble it to move it out of the yard. It has so far kept the water and snow to a minimum and the patio heater has SO FAR not damaged the roof (I believe due to the vent at the top). I have a infrared thermometer and constantly monitor the temp of the roof when running the heater (which DOES have the recommended 18” clearance above the heater - in the center at least). It gets up to about 100-140* TOPS around the lower areas around the edges of the heater and so far I haven’t noticed any issues with shrinkage/burning.

This is a beautiful canopy, I enjoyed it for all of a 1/2 day (5 stars) - My issue is with the Customer Service - zero starts. I purchased it in March 2021 but did not put it up until the July 5th. We spend about 4 hours getting it up on a Monday and unfortunately a sever storm hit my area on Tuesday, (who knew NJ could receive such serve weather in July, we had a new record for damages). The Gazebo tumble over, rolled over to the next yard and was damaged. Two of the rods were broken (see pics) and two poles were bent. I have tried to contact ABCCANOPY by e-mail just to ask if I can PURCHASE replacement parts (they do not have a number, just an e-mail) I sent e-mails but NO REPLY. The Gazebo is so nice (I didn't even get to take a pic of it standing) I was thinking just to order another one in a different color so I can change colors summer to summer - BUT, I don't like spending money with companies I cannot receive an answer from. This was no one's fault but really, no customer service? I could have lived with the answer NO, we do not have replacement parts but I'm very uncomfortable with NO REPLY.

Cons: does not hold up to mid seattle rain day on day 1. It’s already raining inside. It gathers condensation inside on ceiling and drips down. It’s 100% not going to work and it’s been up for 1/2 day rain so far and not raining that hard or much. Pros:it’s beautiful and poles are sturdy. It’s not not rain/waterproof like description says. I’d say if sprinkling for a short time, every once in a while, you’ll be fine. It also has drain holes in each side, water will come through there too.

This is a very affordable canopy, so I do appreciate that this was one of the cheaper options. I put it together today and its not hard, took about an hour. The build quality is not that great, which is why I'm giving it 4/5, and most of that 4 is being earned based on the price. If I'd paid more, the value component wouldn't have been there and the rating would drop like a rock. I posted an example of one of the welds. They all look like this. Burnt through in some places, sloppy and not really holding in others. But again, for the price, I can only complain about 1 stars worth.

Arrived quickly. I was surprised to find the package weighs in at better than 50lbs. It came packaged very well and was easy to put up. While I didn't find any directions, figuring it out was easy. Just remember to put the canopy on the frame before you bring it to full height. Canopy is heavier grade than others I have used in the past and the frame is powder coated steel and VERY sturdy. There are two height adjustments for each leg so if the terrain is uneven you can get it level. The frame legs snap in place with a solid click. The case/wheels is made well too and seems as if it could outlast the canopy. heavy duty zippers are easy to slide and unlike many other cases has a bit of extra room in it so that the everything goes back in. I can't tell you the amount of times that once out of the case you can't get the thing back in. That is not the case (pun intended) here. In addition weight bags were included (you provide the sand). I have bought many canopies over the years and while this was the most expensive (not that much) , this one is by far the highest quality. UPDATE: After only a month a regular use the canopy colors faded. The real nice blue stripes changed to ugly purple. NOT COOL.
