My 12.5 year old Garmen recently quit. Was a wonderful and user friendly product. This GPS has lnstructions. Once I got an address set. The unit give late turn instructions.     • Product met my satisfaction.
I dislike the fact that the system does not identify the streets or routes when exiting the highway. For example, it instructs "in 300 feet, leave highway, make the first left." Confirmation of the street name or exit number would be more preferable.

    • IMPOSSIBLE TO SET UP!
I bought this for a trip I needed to take but was extremely disappointed with this GPS. The instructions are incomplete and therefore I was unable to get it working. Even one of my "tech-savvy" friends couldn't igure out how to make it work. Don't buy this!

    • Do NOT get this!!
I just got this, not sure why I bought this piece of trash with only a 3 1/2 star review, which I have NEVER done before. I haven't even completed setting it up and already I'm ready to trash it but plan to return it either way: 1) For the English language voice directions, there are only US and UK to choose from and most of them are, "Street names not announced". Who on earth would selection an option where the street names aren't included in the directions?? The ONLY English one that announces street names is UK. I don't want a UK voice giving me directions!! 2) As usual, Chinese-made products have horrific instructions that don't make sense at all. What the heck does, "So it can't find the address intelligent" mean??!! AND, most of the instructions don't make sense. 3) To enter the destination it has to be typed in including the Country. The address has to be typed in, there is NO voice-to-text! I'm ready to smash this thing against the wall! ... show more

    • Don't recommend this item for anyone.
There many issues with this unit. The manual did not match the operation of the unit. Many misspelled words that changed the meaning of the instructions. Could not change time zone as the only options were in foreign countries. Unit was stuck in "Set Navigation Path" when turned on and could remedy. "Reset" function did not make any changes when use. Was not able to see what else was defective due to initial start up problems. Very disappointed in this purchase. ! ... show more

    • possible security issue
Before connecting to car, I hooked it up to my computer. after 5 minutes i disconnected it and immediately a warning appeared for a dangerous trojan virus with a number to call. I called and it was the typical man in India looking to get into my computer. Obviously a scam but I don't appreciate buying a product from Amazon only to have it try to scam me. Now I don't trust the product enough to continue using it! ... show more
