First tip off is when I saw only 20 people giving this item a 5.0. If it is that good why aren't more people buying it. When I looked at the reviews again today the 20 was reduced to 13. There is something fishy going on. Though the item shows a view very similar to the Garmin car GPS. the only view you can get is top down. Like looking down on a paper map. I did see there was a demo mode and so I thought well let me see what it looks like in action. The only view was a top down view. I called in to see if someone could help me. It appears to be of good quality, but, when typing in an address it only shows the keys that THEY want you to use, other words you have to use your cell phones GPS. Its seems some times the two are fighting each other for what ever address you wish to go. MapQuest allows you to type in what ever address you want. The great things about it; color, touch screen, quick to react, speed notification, very visible. It would be the perfect GPS system if it were not for the ability to use all keys. ... show more

constant on and off during driving show the map another states while i am driving in california,And later on driving the GPS completely shut off no monitor display show.....
