  • Works GREAT on my Galaxybook 3 Pro 360
Works GREAT on my Galaxybook 3 Pro 360. The size is great for a person like me who travels all the time. I was really surrpised by what this thing could do. I thought an eGPU wouldn't perform particularly well but it runs War Thunder on nearly maximum graphics with 55fps. Now I can travel AND game with one device! It does have a few quirks. On my machine, the eGPU has to be turned on and plugged into the laptop before the laptop turns on or else things get weird. Also sometimes when you hit the power button on the eGPU it turns on and quickly fades off again, leaving me a little uncomfortable, but it's never seemed to be an issue. Bottom line is it's very portable, and works great for me! ... show more

  • Terrible company, product crashed my win max 2
Product that will be sent to you is most likely refurbished like mine was. This graphic dock was broken out of the box. I plugged it into my GPD Winmax 2 and it crashed my fairly new, 1600$ gaming laptop and fried the motherboard. The fan was inoperable and the device got up to 100 degrees quickly before crashing my system. I would stay away from Lanruo at all costs, neither I or the customer service from Amazon could get in touch with anyone from Lanruo. A scam company that sell broken refurbished third party products as if they are new. ... show more

  • Awesome Sauce
Love it, great eGPU, GDP is unmatched in quality. A bit finicky at times, but it's to be expected with the technology, works 90% of the time without issue. Just upset I bought late, they are releasing a new eGPU soon I bet to match OneXPlayers new eGPU with the newer AMD chipset with more RAM.

  • Came on time, brand new with all the necessary cables
I received the product within 2 days of placing the order. I'm pointing out that it was brand new and came with all its cables because one of the Amazon reviews claimed that they received theirs without cables, which made me think that I would receive a used product, and honestly because of this, almost did not want to buy it at all. I took a leap of faith and I'm glad I did, because my copy came brand spanking new, fully usable and within two days. The product itself is amazing. This is the future of eGPUs IMHO. It maybe not be the most powerful Graphics Card out there, but PORTABILITY is the keyword here. It's slick, lightweight and ran everything I threw at it buttery smooth (up to 1440p) at the time of writing this (Jan 2024). The reason for the 4 stars is the price. This product retails for about almost $250 less everywhere else. But takes upwards of 20 days+ to arrive to the U.S. Some sites will get it to you within 10 days if you paid a ~$20 shipping fee. So, yes, getting it in 2 days is certainly convenient, and worked for me, as I had an emergency. But still the price mark up is quite high for the convenience. ... show more

  • External GPU is going to trend in the future.
The GPD G1 has truly impressed me. When paired with the Legion Go, it delivers exceptional performance. Whether you're playing AAA titles or popular online games with friends, it runs them smoothly. The Radeon software allows you to customize the eGPU to enhance its performance in specific games. I was amazed by how well this eGPU performed. I couldn't discern a difference between it and my main gaming PC, which boasts an RTX 4070 Ti and Intel i7 13K. It provides the same level of smooth performance. I highly recommend purchasing this eGPU for its performance and the convenience it offers for portable gaming. ... show more

  • Could be great
I tried pairing this with my new Framework Laptop 13. The G1 increased graphics performance up to 10x over the Radeon 780M in the processor. During gaming the G1 fan would definitely be running hard and pumping out some nice warm air. I use headphones, so the fan noise didn't bother me. The base plate got extremely hot during use and after about 20 minutes the G1 reset, crashing the game. The performance is great. I'm hoping I just got a bad unit. ... show more

  • Requires a USB4 port connection!!!! And my laptop doesn't have one.
Just tried hooking this up, and only now do I realize it requires a USB4 connection. My laptop doesn't even have USB-C, let alone USB4. So a total waste of money for me. Looks nice. I'm sure it works fine. But the description wasn't enough to clue someone with my limited PC knowledge into the fact that if your laptop doesn't have that little oval-shaped female slot for USB4 you're out of luck with this purchase. ... show more

  • I’m happy with it so far
The media could not be loaded. This thing makes gaming playable on a HP business laptop. Actually insane to me. Is it the best thing to render graphics? No it’s not obviously it’s an external gpu. But it makes things playable(Tarkov) which is enough for me to be happy with it. I’m running an HP G10 845(AMD CPU). Prior to this egpu it’d take 14-20 minutes to load a match into streets of Tarkov and I’d get about 10 fps. Now I load into it in less than 5 minutes averaging 45FPS. (Streets is a brutal map to load on this game and gaming rigs struggle to keep up). The dock is super light portable and power cable is simple small. Unlike the onexgpu this is much more portable. Only concern is the Type C port on the dock wearing out over time. No way to tell and if it does break is it easily fixable? Not sure but I like this thing at the end of the day and will keep it. ... show more
