I have four people with long thick hair in my household and it seems a drain or two gets clogged up every 6-12 months. These work like a charm and are extremely cost effective compared to what I was paying for their equivalent in smaller quantities at local retail stores. In fact, these are a bit tougher than the brand I was buying, such that I didn't have to get out the stainless steel snake for a recent bath tub clog, which are usually the worse ones I have to deal with. This handled it no problem in about a minute, where that other brand just couldn't cut it. The caveat on the bathtub and shower is that in my over 20 years of being the guy who unclogs stuff in a household, every once in a blue moon, you get a real deep clog that these might not be long enough for, that you'll probably need a stainless steel snake for. I've only had two incidents like that in over 20 years though. The vast majority of clogs I've dealt with aren't that deep and these make silly quick work of them.

I've had a clog for about 2 years now, and had thought of buying a drain snake. I really didn't want to store one and thought of how it can be pretty unsanitary over time. During these 2 years, I've been pouring drano (drain cleaner liquid) and it was a total waste of money. This product was the perfect solution! It's green, non-toxic, and it works way better than drano. You're not supposed to use this if you've already poured drano down your drain. There is a possibility of splashing yourself. But use with caution if you decide to move forward with it. It pulled a lot of hair out, and my drain is as good as new! Problem fixed. Good bang for the buck!

This product was extremely helpful in pulling the hair out of my sink and bathtub drains! It was easy to use, and the mess stayed on the plastic, so I didn't make a huge mess or have to touch it! I also expected to use a lot more of the plastic pieces to clean out the drain, but this helped clean it quickly. Would recommend this product if you need to clean out a clog!

This little guy really helped us unclog that pesky bathroom sink that had been backing up for a year!! The sink held water better than the Titanic when it sank! So, after months of begging for something to be done about it, I took matters into my own hands. I ordered this little gadget, and let me tell you, it penetrated all seven layers of hell, for sure. Whatever I pulled out was so disgusting that I had to get help, lest I toss these cookies!! So, we did have to call in some help, bc there was one layer it just couldn’t quite get past. Well, I suggest you stop pushing if you ever get to this layer, bc it turns out that it was the actual 50 year old pipe pushing back. This little sucker went straight through the pipe!! Well, then we had to call an actual plumber. This little gadget managed to help me get this entire issue repaired, professionally, within days…after a year of trying, to no avail. I HIGHLY recommend this product ladies, especially if you’re tired of waiting on someone to address the mess.

It did clear the hair out of the frain and remove the blockage. However, it was really difficult to pull it back out. Removing it took me several wasted minutes -- and was uncomfortable to my hands.

It is hard to know how to fix a "slow drain" most chemicals which are not environmentally great won't really do the trick, so I decided to try this product. It worked like a charm on the flvery first try. I wish I would have taken a picture at the time, but didn't think about it until after the fact. But it looked very similar to the picture they show. I am so glad I got these and although u usually don't leave reviews, I am happy to do so on this one. Give it a try. It doesn't disappoint!

The directions for use state to ensure the tool is flat prior to use, and recommends hanging ahead of time. I opened one and hung it upside down, but even weeks later it has yet to fully straighten out. I assume it is due to having been curled so long in the package. Thus, I have yet to actually use it down the drain, for fear of it snapping in the pipe as described in the warning. I would like to say that purchasing in bulk saved me a bit of money in the long run, but find that difficult since I can't even use one.
