The media could not be loaded. I am a dog care professional and needed these for several uses: The first use is for a storage chest that slides open splitting for the middle and it’s slightly inconvenient when it decides to open if you have something on top like a cup of coffee, so I had been looking for a little latch to help keep it shut. This is perfect as it requires no tools or drilling or holes made into the wood. The peel and stick on these latches is strong enough to keep put and hold these sliding doors shut. The second use is to keep our dogs out of pushing our lazy Susan pen by accident when they bump into it. They don’t purposely try to push it open, so this worked great to keep it from spinning it open. I will note that if you have a strong or large dog (or child) who is purposely trying to open the cabinets, these latches may not be strong enough to keep them out, as I feel a strong dog can easy still break this through if they try hard enough. However, for us, it works perfectly! 😊

The idea of these is amazing and it would be a solid 5 star review if the adhesive was stronger on various surfaces. We are using them to keep our dog out of the trash so the bottom half is installed on the smooth stainless steel can and sticks great, but the top part is installed on a plastic semi smooth lid and popped off immediately. Having this lock installed was a must, so I researched multi purpose adhesives and went with E6000 and now the lock is solid and works wonderfully! We’ve had it on for several weeks now and love it. It’s quick and easy to use and saves our family from cleaning trash off the floor on a weekly basis!

The media could not be loaded. The good: These were very simple to install. All you have to do is remove the 3M backing, align them in position as stick them. The clip is simple to use for an adult but it will be complicated to use for a toddler. So you don’t have to worry about your child trying to open them. Even though they attach with a 3M tape adhesive they have held pretty good. I tried to use some force to pop the door open and the clip/lock stayed in place. These work great for under the sink cabinets which is where we installed them. We have a deep sink and our cabinets have no handles. We were limited on the options as a result but these have been a good solution so far. The not so good: They seem to be cheap plastic and are not very aesthetically pleasing. They do have color options for you to choose from so consider that when ordering. They attach to your cabinet door with a 3M adhesive tape which I don’t know how much damage it will do the cabinet paint once removed. Depending on the size of your cabinet door, since they are installed on the outside the opening can be rather big as seen on the video. This is something you need to consider before you install.

I purchased this cube storage a while back. It's generally good but no matter how I align things, some of the doors want to sit partially open - and randomly different degrees of open (based on other online reviews this is common with this type of cube storage). I was desperate something to hold them shut. I tried a few things like magnetic 90 degree latches, but the doors are so smooth that the adhesive would give out before the magnet after a few opens & closes. These have worked out So Well as a solution to keep those dang doors closed & uniform looking!

I got the child locks on January 13th. It’s March 2nd and I’ve already had two break. At first I really liked them. They were Easy to install, kept my baby out of the cabinets and I like how they look. I’ve only used 4 so far. So basically half have broken. Update: I thought I posted this review back in March. However I apparently didn’t. I replaced my broken locks and since then the replacements have broken too. They have all broken now. I unfortunately just ordered a different type now. I’ve had them break in all different ways. They do break where the circle falls off, I noticed in their add they made a point to say that doesn’t happen. Be careful and watch your babies. Mine loves to put things in her mouth so I searched and searched to find the broken piece before her. I wouldn’t recommend these child locks.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had these for a few months and they work really well. Easy to open and close with one hand (an important factor when trying to hold a baby or keep them) and easy to install. The adhesive is very sticky so I’m not worried about baby being able to pull them off. It’s perfect for renters or people who don’t want to screw holes into their cabinets like with other types of latches. Make sure you stick it at least 3 1/4” below any top/counter because it needs that much room to rotate when opening.
