The media could not be loaded. I think the pictures speak for themsleves. For me, this hand held thermal will be the most useful in the shop checking engine components, bearings, ect. Another way I will be using is to inspect for heat leaks on buildings or simply spots thatb are not sealed or insulated properly. I found black and white hot to be the most useful. The overlay picture is nice feature, allows the image to be seen from how we see it, and progressively to complete thermal. Im not sure the temperature tracking is all that accurate when compared to standard temp guns and for that reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. ... show more

    • Slow refresh rate, slow clunky video.
I got this primarily for detecting where my house is lacking insulation, possible warm/hot wiring, etc... Once you get one of these you'll never see the world the same again because it's like you have X-Ray vision. When looking at a wall composed of drywall, 2X4s and insulation it's like you can see through the wall because the studs are visible. In my non-scientific tests (comparing the temperature measurements with a Thermal IR temperature gun), both units were very close if not identical. One of the two largest drawbacks for me is: 1) The buttonology can be a bit clunky. 2) The video refresh rate is at the low end of IR Thermal imaging cameras. What this means is you need to pan slowly, very slowly. With that, my reason for three stars is the price and refresh rate. I have other Thermal IR Imaging devices which use a 25 Hz refresh rate, once I used that I never picked this model up again. Also, the other version is a USB-C type so the ease of use is much easier and the price is 1/3 less. ... show more

I am delighted with this thermal camera! It's easy to use, unlike the one that I have that requires a smartphone connection which can be quite cumbersome. Plus, the long battery life is a huge bonus, ensuring I can use it for extended periods without worrying about recharging. Using this thermal camera has been a game-changer for me in identifying plumbing issues. Saving me both time and money on potential repairs. I bought a thermal imager Camera years ago, and it didn't work very well. Now I need to buy one for my work, and I feel that it has changed a lot, and it works very well. Poor contact equipment, maintenance is the most troublesome, he can run, but very unstable, sometimes good and sometimes bad, you can hardly determine where the fault. Old circuit boards are the same, the actual resistance value of the old resistor and the color ring resistance value is completely different. Without this, you will be very tired. ... show more
