If you are debating on whether or not to get this heater, just get it. You'll be so glad you did. It literally does everything it says it does. Although, I haven't heard any crackling sounds it performs all other functions as intended. I was looking for a space heater to replace the one I'd been using in my motorhome seasonally for the last 5 year or so as I like to keep the space heaters I use up to date in there especially and wanted something with all of the safety features, energy effecient with multiple heat settings. The added benefit with this one is the fact that all can be controlled with my phone!!! OMG! That was the real determining factor in my purchasing this one. After reading the reveiws most, if not all of which were favorable I decided to take the leap and wow! I LOVE THIS HEATER! I can turn it on, set desired mode/temp and lighting feature PRIOR to going out to the RV (here at home in the driveway). I am also then able to monitor its performance right from my cell phone or whatever device your using to control the heater. One thing to know or remember, however. This heater doesn't come with a separate remote or controller. The only method of control is via your cell phone (or similar device) or the controls located on the actual heater. The heat produced is fantastic! Each setting doing what it's supposed to do. The sound is also minimal in comparison to many space heaters I've used in the past. The lighting features are also nice and adds a little 'something' to an otherwise normal looking space heating product. Again, all lighting features can be controlled from your phone. I am very pleased with this product and will continue to look for other products this company produces. My roomate bought their interior lighting strip to use in the den around the room (hidden lighting) due to it being also controlled by his cell phone (or other similar device) a few years ago and he hasn't had a single issue and I expect the same from this. I've purchased several of these space heaters for my home because I know Govee's reputation for great smart products. I own several Govee products so it makes sense to purchase this heater to work concurrently with my Govee Smart Thermometer/Hygrometer. I can say a lot of positive things about this space heater but I will go straight to the point by saying it's powerful enough to heat up a bedroom in minutes. I paired this heater with my smart thermometer to improve the accuracy of the automatic feature on the heater. It accurately turns off to the desired heat setting, however, you have a window of minus 1 to 3 degree temperature drop (from your desired heat setting) before it turns back on. This heater has a realistic fireplace lighting at the bottom of the heater which I personally do not use but it's still a great feature. I personally would rather have RGB lighting and have the whole length of the heater be used for the ceramic heating element in replacement of the fireplace feature. One important thing that no one has mentioned is the strong plastic smell that emanates from the heater when turned on. It is strong! I had to use this heater in high setting outdoors to try and burn off the smell. Currently, it still does smell and will require several uses before I assume it would dissipate. This smell, I believe, is a problem with most space heaters both big and small. Lastly, one improvement I would suggest is that the buttons on the top of the heater should be backlit. In the middle of the night when it's dark, it's impossible to see the buttons at the top if you want to change some settings. You would have to use the app. Pros: - Heats room quite well - Quiet - Oscillates to a wide degree - Easy to clean filter Cons: - Obnoxious chemical smell when used Improvements: - Backlit buttons on heater - Color options (particularly white)

Got this for the finished area above our garage and it handled it in freezing conditions (finished area, but no heat source). Was blown away that for $150 I had a smart heater that could keep up. It's about 500 sq ft. Oh and the app is top-notch. Can't get enough of Govee, I just hope they stay affordable for a while.

The heater controls via phone works great. Easy set up and the heater warms a 600 square foot room with drafty windows perfectly. The little coal display is cheaply made. Could have done better on the display. However, it is just a display that provides no main function.

This thing is great. Put in my daughter’s room and it keeps a nice consistent temperature all night. Love the app and integration with remote thermometers. It was super easy and quick to hook up and get running. It appears very nice and feels sturdy. I’ve tested the tip over turnoff and it works perfectly. Thing pushes out hot air almost immediately.

The heater smelled like electrical burn right out the box. Temp would not get above 59 degrees even though it was set to different higher temperatures over 3 hours. And was really expensive. The WiFi and Bluetooth is maybe a good concept. Never got to use those functions.
