I love it when things work. This was easy to set up. It's Wi-Fi or Bluetooth so no worries on signal. It's accurate and easy to use. It's reasonably priced. You don't have to be on the Wi-Fi to use it, so you can step out and still be able to check back on your smoker. It's nice you can use one of the four probes to keep an eye on the grill temp. You can set alerts for each one. You can also use multiple phones on it. If you're looking for a grill or smoker thermometer don't hesitate to get this one!

App is overly complicated, it wants to connect to an entire ecosystem of home automation tools. It’s not a native meat thermometer app. Connection to wi-fi was inexplicably difficult, we figured it out eventually but weren’t sure how we did it. Once setup, thermometer worked as expected. Only gripe was that we started logging temperature prior to inserting thermometer into meat, so vertical scale of time trend graph was messed up.

I bought this to monitor the temperatures of water in and out of my water heater in the basement. I taped the leads onto the pipes and that gives me a pretty accurate reading of the water temperature. I'm mostly trying to figure out why my shower temperatures are fluctuating in case having a reason makes all this seem more sane. I was hoping for a readout in the phone app similar to the govee room temperature sensors that I have. But this readout is pretty much all about cooking meat. No data for hour/day/month/year. Just a rolling display for the 2 hours. Also, I found that the connections where the probes enter then display do not make very good connections. Readings dropped out often until things got seated solidly. If anyone cares it seems the problem with the shower temperature was more the cold water getting colder than the hot water running out. Probably more of a problem here on the Ice Planet Hoth (Minnesota) when the water from outside comes in. As seen in the pictures. . .

I have 6 pits in my backyard and over 5 different temperature probes ranging from Handheld to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This Govee is more accurate than my Smoke IT on Pit boss and has longer range. It is as accurate as handheld. For last year have used instead of my other devices due to how well it works. I did have one battery issue but was replaced within a week by Govee support, Both the company and the device are excellent. I would highly recommend this product.

Love this device smoked turkey breast and Legs with 2 different zones.The alarm settings were some what Difficult to fine tune. Overall a necessity for any grill or smoker.

I received this as a gift and I was finally able to pull this out and use it with the new Kamado Grill I just got and was a bit disappointed to realize that there are now wireless probe technology available like Meater and Meat Stick. Regardless I wanted to give this its due diligence. The hardware is sleek with an easy to read display the only real down side is because there are 4 probes and no distinction between any its hard to figure which probe the user is reading unless you follow the line. Besides that the lines getting tangled which is why I mentioned the wireless probes. The app can be executed much better however. I set the app to alert me however once my phone screen was in rest mode it was a hit and miss. I would hear the device going off and nothing on my phone till I turned it on. Also I turned off the alarm at the interface only to have it still activate. The setting of temperatures and editing is a bit confusing and removing edited ones even more so. There are other bugs like the app showing 1/2 battery while the device shows full and the app loading and sometimes giving inaccurate information than what the device is giving. Overall I would opt for the simplicity of the wireless probes even for more money it eliminates tangles and really the probes should have come with different colors to easily separate which probe is which. Also these newer companies seem to be focused on designing apps that are maintained and better thought out.
