Love are Govee string lights. We use them on their on our patio. They look fantastic. Definitely measure and get a plan before you put them up. We've done this before wasn't our first rodeo? But still, you know, hung him had to restring them, because we didn't measure properly learn from us. Don't do what we did. We set these up on the back patio at our Airbnb and they completely changed the atmosphere. The colors are bright but not harsh, and the app makes it super easy to switch between warm white and fun colors for different moods. They’ve held up well outside — even through rain — and the build feels sturdy. Around the fire pit at night, they give that cozy but modern look guests always mention in reviews.     • Great smart outdoor lights — not the exact Edison look I wanted, but totally won me over once lit

I originally bought these hoping for that vintage Edison-bulb look. When they’re turned off, the triangle-style LED inside isn’t exactly the aesthetic I wanted, and the bulbs don’t look as classic as I hoped. But once I hung them up and turned them on — especially for Halloween — they completely grew on me. What I love: • The app is super easy to use and honestly one of my favorite parts. I can change the colors and themes for any holiday right from my phone. • You can also share your light settings with other people or use pre-made combinations from other users, which is really fun and gives endless options. • They’ve already survived rough wind and storms and are still working perfectly, so they feel durable and good quality overall. A few downsides: • The “white” color is tricky. Sometimes it looks slightly pinkish instead of a true warm white. I’ve been reading online that it’s a common issue — people say you can fix it by playing with the custom settings, so I’m still experimenting. • The bulbs are plastic. They don’t break easily, but they can scratch if you’re not careful. • Even though these are outdoor lights, I recommend getting a waterproof cover for the switch/adapter — the instructions say not to let that part get wet. Overall: Not the exact Edison style I originally pictured, but the customization, app features, and how beautiful they look when lit make them totally worth it. I’d buy them again, especially for seasonal decorating and smart home convenience. ... show more

Absolutely love the way these lights look. I had a previous model of Govee lights that weren’t matter and weren’t clear. These look amazing. At night, you don’t see the outer shells, just the light from the bulb and it looks really good. Highly recommend.

Love these lights! Out of all the outdoor string lights that I’ve used these are the best I’ve found. They look very aesthetic, they are easy to set up, and seem like good quality without spending too much money. Pros: The lights are brighter than any other lights I’ve tried. The colors are rich and deep as well. Pairing within the Govee app was a simple as quickly pressing the power button and they are on. Cons: The illumination setting is the only way to make these lights as bright as possible. After browsing Reddit and realizing this is an ongoing problem yet to be addressed by Govee this is where these lights lose the one star from me. There is no way to set the lights to say blue and bright white alternating. You only can do dim white and color or full bright with no color options. I would like to see this changed. The other issue is the plug needs to be protected if it’s exposed. This is simple enough to do, but I wish it was better protected for the outdoor. Overall I do feel these lights are good minus the fact that Govee won’t fix the brightness issue and would definitely get another set if need be. PS: if you are trying to set the lights full bright and can’t find the setting go into the app, then press scene, then life, then white light. ... show more

Beautiful and easy to set up. And they DO connect multiple strands. One reviewer said they didn't and I'm relieved to report i bought the 96' and was able to very easy connect the 2 48' strands.
