I’m so happy with this scooter! My husband put it together in literally about 5 minutes—super simple and no frustration at all. The scooter feels sturdy, charges quickly, and has a nice smooth ride. The speed is perfect for kids (fast enough to be fun but still safe), and the throttle/brake setup is really easy for beginners. My kids love it and have been zipping around nonstop! The battery life has been great so far, and I appreciate that it’s certified and has both the electronic brake and the foot brake for extra safety. Definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

The Gotrax GKS Mini is a really fun little scooter for kids. Setup was super quick, and my kid figured out how to ride it in minutes. It feels sturdy, the speed is just right (fast enough to be exciting but still safe), and the brakes work well. Battery life is fine for short rides around the neighborhood, though you’ll need to recharge after a few miles. The small wheels mean it’s best on smooth sidewalks, not rough ground. Overall, it’s a great starter scooter — safe, easy to use, and my kid absolutely loves it. I’d give it 4.5/5 stars mainly because the range is a bit short, but for the price and quality, it’s hard to beat.

Got this Gotrax scooter for my 7yearold daughter and she loves it! It’s easy to ride, the speed is just right for her age, and it feels sturdy and safe. The battery doesn’t last super long, but it’s perfect for the short rides around the neighborhood.

To start, I ordered the pink and black scooter. I received a pink and white scooter, which isn't pictured as an option. Additionally, when I unpackaged it, the scooter looked to already be worn at the hardware connection areas. Finally, the sticky mat was peeling right out of the box. On top of that, the advertisement does not make clear that this does not have handle bar controls. Its controlled by two buttons affixed to the base, in which you must have 1 foot on each for it to go. This was very confusing for my 4 year old to figure out vs just a thumb throttle switch. On the bright side, this has a frame that is built very well and its very quite compared to the comparable Razor brand scooter. Overall, its a solid scooter but I am disappointed in the quality of the details, the color, and the controls.

Purchase the scooter for our 13-year-old daughter as she had been asking for one. Set up was easy once it was out of the box and you're only connecting a few pieces and all the necessary tools to put it together were included in the box, which was nice. It comes with a wall plug and was fully charged and ready to go in a couple hours. It's heavyweight, in a durable way and not a too heavy to handle way. The scooter itself doesn't go crazy fast, as we liked this option as we didn't want a scooter that could go fifteen miles an hour like the adult versions did. So this one is great for the miles per hour and the range it gets is impressive. It functions perfectly and gets the desired speed even with our 5'0 daughter, so it can handle the size and weight. The price for the scooter was definitely a contributing factor as to why we purchased this one as well. I'm so very pleased with this electric scooter and so is our daughter.

We got our daughter the GOTRAX GKS for her 8th birthday and she rides it every day to school and back — her school is just two blocks away and the battery easily lasts all week. It’s lightweight and easy for her to handle, and I like that she has to start moving before the accelerator kicks in, which feels safer. Assembly was quick, and she was off riding around in no time. The steel frame feels sturdy, the thumb throttle is simple to use, and the 6” wheels mean no flats. There is no handbrake but the foot brake works well when she goes downhill. It’s been a fun and reliable way for her to get around on her own.

Buyer beware. I purchased three scooters from this seller. All the same model for my three kids, all three in the SAME month. Scooters all worked fine for a little while, kids were happy. That did not last though. One of them, the batter would not hold a charge for more than a minute. When I took it apart, I noticed the battery shipped with the scooter was manufactured 2.5 YEARS before I ordered the scooter. So, I immediately looked at the other two scooters and they both had batteries that were manufactured only a couple months before my order date. I contacted the company and explained all of this to their representative, only to be met with the message, "sorry, the warranty expired and you can purchase a new battery for $50." I followed up multiple times with the questions surrounding the manufacture date of the bad battery and their only response was, "sorry, your warranty is up. It has exceeded the warranty period and we're not going to send you a free battery." Obviously, absolutely terrible customer service and just bad business in general to not recognize and correct a clear mistake on their part.
