Purchased this for a window to keep the early morning sun out at a vacation rental. It did the job and we removed it when we left but we taped it on. Lol! I was afraid that sticking it would be too hard to remove and leave a sticky residue. So, I can’t comment on the reusable feature.

My daughter moved back home with her dogs. Her male dog does not get along with our male dog and went at it through the sliding glass window. This was the perfect solution! This sheet was about half the size of my window so I had to line up 2 pieces across my window. I cleaned my window with windex very well before I even started. I also prepared a spray water bottle with a drop of dish soap to spray on before I attached the tint. I measured to the closest grid mark so I could cut a straight line. I figured I’d use a utility knife to trim the overlap. The edges of the tint must not be exactly straight cus there is a very fine line where it didn’t line up perfectly in the middle of the window. I intentionally used the factory cut sides together to be able to get a seamless edge. The hardest part was separating the tint from the backing. I had to use a utility blade and a cricut weeding tool. Once I got the backing off, I misted my window with the soapy water and put the tint on top long edge first. It was very easy to move around where I wanted it to go. The edges did not curl up at all. I was able to use a credit card to smooth the edges into the pane of the window which gave me a very smooth edge and no daylight shining through.     • Super difficult to get the clear layer off

This definitely is opaque, so once it’s up, I assume it will work as it’s supposed to and block sun. BUT getting it up was a ridiculous hassle. First, the edges aren’t straight, so if you want it to fit perfectly, be ready to trim all four edges. Second, there is only one spot with a tab to start pulling off the clear plastic film so you can put it on your window. And God help you if you have to trim that bit or if you’re trying to use one roll of this yo do anything but one piece of blackout film. It literally took me 10 minutes and a pocketknife to finally get the clear bit separated enough to peel off. I’ve worked with window tint before and never had this difficult a time. For reference, one pane with this took me about 4 times as long as a same-sized pane with another brand. ... show more

My son room be the hottest one cuz the sun beams towards his room. We put it on the night before and the next day, it made it a bit more less hotter than before. Very quality and simple to apply. Definitely recommend heating the sheet first to make it easier to peel the backing off. I don’t have a hair dryer so I just held it to the sun for about a minute.
