The media could not be loaded. This is my third Gotrax product and I believe I will continue to be their loyal customer. I purchased this electric scooter for myself and my son who is 11 years old and we are both loving it. We use it to go back and forth to our community pool and tennis park on daily basis. I am really impressed with its solid built and I can sense that it will last us a long time but with that said it is a little heavier for my son to drag it out of the garage without powering it on. It has big 10-inch wheels so one can navigate it in all sorts of roads. My son has dropped it at least 3 times and other than few nicks it is going really strong. The best thing that I like about this scooter is it security features. It took me almost an hour and reading through several reviews to figure out on how to get rid of auto-lock. It digitally self autolocks whenever it powers down. It has a built-in physical wire lock with a combination lock, which I find really handy since i easily to attach it to my pool fence when i go for a swim and I don't have to carry a separate lock with me. The battery is great. I have been able to 35-40 miles on a single charge, which is more than I need for a single trip. The charging is pretty quick as well, a fully drained battery gets charged in less than 20 mins. It comes with 2 speeds settings and has light in the front which is really handy. Overall, I love this scooter, it is worth the price. The only thing that I really disliked about the scooter was that it came with very little operating instructions and i had to scour videos online to familiarize myself. ... show more

Been using this for about a week, so far better than my previous scooter, ride is much smoother. I travel a lot in the city it proforms well in traffic and on uneven roads; I think its because of the good proformance wheels and breaking system. My travel speed is about 19 mph the motor did not struggle. It handles well on turns but maybe challenging on turns were thr road is wet. I use it mainly for my part time delivery job in the city, after 4 hours usage battery goes down to about 50% power, battery life is great. The small form charger makes it convenient to carry so I charge it on my break time. Thou it does take awhile to get full charge. When I took it out of the box it has some good weight to it, the frame feels solid with good welds. I recommend to have a wide space to unpackage it. I just have to attach the handle bars, it came already charged so it was ready to go and easy to use. It was bigger than I thought but it folds and fix in the trunk of my Camery. It's long enough for 2 people so it's a lot of fun to travel together. It's a bit more expensive than my previous scooter but it's much better in every way so I think it a good value for what I'm getting. ... show more

    • Do NOT buy the G4 GoTrax

We had the G4 for 5 months. It was used on a college campus. It was kept inside in a dorm room. The G4 was lightly used. Still looks new. One day it just stopped working. GoTrax makes you send emails. GoTrax does not have a warranty phone number. When you send an email, they respond back within 48 hours. The problem is that there is never a resolution. They just keep replying to emails. I would not recommend buying a GoTrax. We are out $400 and will have to buy from a different manufacturer. There is a phone number for customer support but they do not support warranty or service claims. They say that you must keep sending emails. They are very nasty on the phone when you tell them you do not want to keep sending emails. Do Not buy from GoTrax if you expect any customer service or warranty claim. Sorry GoTrax for the poor review, but your customer representative should have cared more about taking care of the customer. 3/6/24 at 8:42am: I just submitted another request to fix my daughters G4 to GoTrax because they did not reply back to my email after 48 hours. Do NOT buy the GoTrax G4 if you are expecting any service within the warranty period. 3/15/24, GoTrax never replied to the recent emails I sent regarding warranty. Amazon stepped in and gave me a full refund and let me return the scooter. I purchased a scooter from a different vendor. As a note: To be fare, the GoTrax G4 was a good scooter. The problem was it just stopped working. It was not used very often and wouldn't turn on after only 5 months. GoTrax just wouldn't return any of our emails or help us with any information. In closing, I would not recommend the G4 solely on the warranty problem we had. Thank you Amazon for your refund. You make it easy to shop with you.
