Way sturdier and nicer than the cheaper 10x20 pole tarp Costco carport I replaced it with. No comparison if you can get one. I got mine on sale around $1200 so at that price it’s really worth it so I never wished I got the wood gazebo. Assembly is a 2 person project but it creates a space you want to hang out in. It’s totally waterproof inside but the rain gutters leak badly at the seams. The curtains do seem like a good functional match but I ended up not using them. If you do make sure you put the correct number of hooks in the right track otherwise you have to take it apart. If you have a lot of heat you may want to paint the roof a lighter color before you install as black metal gets hot - but for me it’s hasn’t been a real issue. Doesn’t move in the wind and I bought matching column risers that made it about a foot taller so I could park a lifted Jeep under it.

I won't give it five stars because I do not know how it will do longevity wise. And while the instructions are pretty good, there are some minor things like when you're putting the brackets on for the A-frame on top. You can't really tell if they want the brackets, facing inward or outward just little things in the instruction dimensions. All in all it's a good sturdy unit and I'll see how it does over time. I would recommend a cordless screwdriver because there's literally probably 80 screws And if you have a T 25 torx, along with a 10 mm socket, you should be good to go.

To walk out your back door and have the feeling you have your own personal room that can feel the outdoor breeze and sun without the annoyance of sun glare, overheating, and bugs is such a amazing feeling. This product delivered just that, the only issue I had was one of the sun panels had a puncture in it due to delivery. But reaching out to customer service they have sent a replacement part free of charge. This was easy to install, took roughly 4 hours with 3 people and a ladder. And I use it every single day whether it’s watching the kids play outside or just drinking my morning coffee. It’s durable and sturdy just using anchor hooks into concrete base but also has the option to mount directly to the house. Love this product and highly recommend it!

This is a very nice Gazebo, however if you don't have some skills with tool you should probably not attempt this one. I had several mistakes parts and hardware. The directions have a lot to be desired. There are actually no narrative with these directions, it is all pictures. Luckily I am a contractor so I didn't have to much trouble. This is definitely a two person build.

I recently completed the build of the 20x12 version of this gazebo, and I wanted to share some key takeaways from the experience: 1. **Ease of Construction**: You can build about 95% of this gazebo by yourself. The only time I needed help was when connecting the 20ft beam to the side of the gazebo. The instructions were mostly clear and manageable for a solo build. 2. **Pre-Assembly Convenience**: I was able to assemble about 70% of the structure in my garage, which was a huge plus. This allowed me to avoid the heat and keep my lawn from getting damaged by scattered parts. 3. **Shipping Issues**: Shipping was a bit of a hassle. The boxes arrived on different days over a span of about two weeks, and one box was damaged. This resulted in another week's delay to receive the last box. However, customer service was responsive and helpful throughout the process. 4. **Assembly Challenges**: I encountered an issue with two of the roof slats not lining up with the screw holes. I had to drill my own hole to attach the bolt, which was a bit frustrating but manageable. 5. **Instruction Manual**: Some of the instructions could use improvement. Towards the end, I had to carefully plan some steps to ensure I could access all screws. One step would have required a bucket lift to reach the screw, which was not feasible. 6. **Finished Product**: The final build is fantastic. It's spacious, the colors are beautiful, and the curtains add a nice touch. My family loves it, and I highly recommend this gazebo. Overall, despite a few hiccups, the gazebo is a great addition to our outdoor space, and the effort was well worth it.

Works exactly how we had hoped! The panels for the roof are a pretty thin and light material, I am unsure how it will do in a bad hail storm but I imagine you can find replacements here on amazon. Other than that it was easy to put together and sturdy. This was a great affordable pergola. I am glad we decided to purchase, it has made an incredibly, relaxing place in our backyard!
