Overall I would say this is a great product. Well I bought something similar for my dogs and loved it I like this one specifically for my countertop and coffee bar. It makes for really easy cleanup and has a flat underside and bumps on the top side so things don't go sliding around. It fits perfectly on my counter when I got the largest size from the front to the back of the counter and has just enough of a lip that when I inevitably spill my coffee, it captures it and gives me time to get it cleaned up 😅 because I'm only using it for this purpose I would say it's a good product. If I were using it for my dogs I know that they would chew it because it's floppy somewhat thin silicone. I'm sure with other animals it would work well but if you have dogs that like silicone floppy toys, this may not be it and you may want to look for a thicker mat. I highly recommend to give it a try keeping in mind your needs and pets habits!

Purchased to use for the dogs' water bowl. The mat looks very nice and is well made as every Gorilla product I've purchase. The water just beads up on the mat. Keeps my floor dry. The water bowl does not slide on the mat either. The mat is easy to clean by just running it under water in the sink. Buy this mat, you will like it!

As I was pondering what to put under my toilet bowl supplies, it occurred to me that one of these would be perfect to protect the wood flooring. I love my dogs, but I have one who is the absolute worst at drinking. If his bowl has four cups of water in it, one cup gets down his gullet and three end up on the floor. We previously had an absorbent mat under his feeder, which helped prevent a flood, but was holding a lot of water. This keeps the spills contained without becoming a mold/smell hazard.

I am using this underneath my pets’ water bowls. The water that drips onto the mat smells so stinky pretty quickly and you have to wipe it down with cleaner pretty often. Kind of annoying. Otherwise, I like how it protects my floors and it does not slide around.
