I have three dogs that range in all sizes. I have used a mat under the water bowl for years and somehow my floors are always wet there. I have hard wood floors so this is destroying them. I decided to try this and the problem is solved. I wanted something with a low edge so I didn't trip on it. In the two weeks I have had I have zero water on my floors. It keeps my bowls in place as well. It's easy to clean, flexible and a great value for the money.

I like the material the mat is made of. We have hardwood floors, so I bought this to save the floors from the water bowl mess (2 big, sloppy dogs). It does that job wonderfully and bowls stay in place. My only complaint is that it has tiny raised dots all over the mat, which I'm sure they added for additional grip for the bowls. Unfortunately this makes it kind of annoying if you just want to wipe the mat down to clean it since it catches the dog hair and the rag as you wipe. I understand you can just bring it to the sink to clean, but being able to wipe it down with a cleaning rag would be my preference. Otherwise this is a wonderful item.
