The Medium fits my son who normally wears a size 8. Good quality. I like the zipper in front so he can zip and unzip himself (thinking bathroom breaks!), and I like that it keeps him warmer when the water is on the cooler side. No more blue lips! Also the short sleeves and shorts pant length is perfect because it looks more like a regular swim suit. The suit itself is wonderful and my grandson loved it but he couldn't get it past buttocks and waist. I measured him carefully and showed it should have been the right size but wasn't even close. He has since decided to go to a full suit instead of short one. If you order I would go up a size.

Everything about this is great! I love how it zips up the front so my kids can put it on easier on their own. It is so nice how the neck is not high in the front either as that has bothered my kids enough in the past that we had to cut the front of the neck down in the front. The zipper does not go all the way down to the crotch, which is a “must” for my boys. It’s still below the belly button. We bought it slightly loose on purpose, but my son felt like he needed some thing else to wear underneath. The boys Speedo spandex shorts are great for this, though they do come down about an inch or two lower than the legs on these shorties. ... show more
