  • Less Than Fulfilling, Looks Great
Color: Blue
First of all, it's pretty much as advertised, and all the parts were there. Assembled, it looks pretty cool, and all the parts function normally so far, including the vibrating lumbar pillow. Both the pillow and the LED array require a USB connection, and since the lights pull a fair amount of juice, one may wish to have a separate USB power unit dedicated to the chair. It feels sturdy enough, and rolls smoothly, but to be fair, I have it on a polycarbonate chair mat, sold separately. The LEDs are downright beautiful, and the remote which controls them is pretty intuitive in design, though it does come with a small guide card to help you customize your lighting or capture your favorite patterns. It's supportive and the back and head rest areas are comfortable and well-placed, at least for me. When upright, it enforces good posture for gaming or working without feeling like it's trying to fold me in half, and the various levels of reclining are many and varied, so finding the best angle for watching videos or nabbing 40 winks shouldn't be hard to find. On the other hand, there are a couple of negative issues regarding comfort. The seating area is too narrow. The flat area of the seat cushion is only 14 1/2 inches wide before it flares up on either side in a section that HAS to be rigid, because it houses the LED display. I don't have the skinniest rear end in the world, but I'm far from tubby, and this chair leaves no wiggle room to sit at a slight angle or . . . well, WIGGLE. There also could be a little more cushioning. The BACK of the chair feels supportive without feeling like one is leaning against something hard with foam on top. The seat ought to as well. The calf rest stows away neatly under the seat. It's on a rack that pulls straight out, allowing the user to flip the rest itself into position. Don't get any illusions about this being a FOOT rest. It extends to mid calf at best, and if I were to bet on any part breaking first, this would be my choice. There is no adjustability of the angle of the rest; it's straight out or nothing, and it feels like it's under a considerable strain from supporting my legs at the calves . . . which is not the most comfortable position. Personally, I can only see myself using the leg rest when I have the seat nearly or fully reclined to watch a video or stream, and then only in tandem with a dedicated foot rest. It's a bit more comfortable if I'm reclining than sitting upright. It would have been really nice to be able to adjust that angle. One place you CAN adjust the angle is on the arm rests. The problem is that you can't NOT adjust them. While the heights of the arm rests are easily adjustable and lockable, there doesn't seem to be any way to lock the angle at which they face. They swivel back and forth from straight forward about 80 degrees, and though there are what feels like slots for them to slip into, there seems to be no way to lock the arms into a given slot, so they are constantly twisting to the left and the right. I like being ABLE to move them, but I'd prefer to be able to dictate when they can move. Assembly was fairly straightforward. That is, none of the connections were particularly complex while making them. However--and I say this having assembled lots of furniture kits--the instructions were difficult to work with. They were not always well-illustrated, and since there was no text, it wasn't always clear what was connecting with what in which way. Study the instructions carefully in their entirety, and confirm the presence and orientation of every piece of hardware or part, and do this BEFORE you ever pick up the assembling tool (there is only one, an angled Allen key/Phillips screwdriver. No other tools are required) Overall, the chair is good, and it's pretty as a peach (the images at the top of the page do not do it justice by a long shot). But it could have been GREAT as well as pretty, and it missed the boat on that. ADDENDUM: 7 months in (Dec, 2020). I failed to mention (sorry) that approximately three of the LEDs have *never* worked (one on the left side beside the neck pillow, and two which are side-by-side on the right side next to the same pillow). It's not a HUGE deal to me, but it does break the flow in some of the more animated light settings. The seat itself tends to feel as though it's leaning forward. I can't say that this is due to wear or bending. It may have always been this way, but I failed to notice it early on simply because I was switching from another chair. I have found that the calf rest works very well if I use it with one leg crossed. It serves to support that crossed leg very comfortably, but for extending my legs, I still prefer to use it in combination with a dedicated foot rest. The biggest problem has been those adjustable arms. Their "low" position is too low, but if I raise them up to somewhere more comfortable . . . well, they will support the weight of a relaxed arm, but not much more than that. If I try to shift my sitting position and put pretty much any more weight whatsoever on one of the arms, they slip and drop down to the bottom setting. They should be locked firmly in each slot, but they don't even come close. Finally, the wires which connect the lights and the massage pillow to their power sources frequently get tangled up in the wheels. That's a minor annoyance for me, but it might be a big bugaboo for others. ... show more

  • Overall nice chair
Color: White
Pros: Colors work beautifully, good remote, overall nice chair. Cons: The usb cable in the back to turn on the chair is way too small, I had to buy a USB adapter and usb extension cable to make it work. - The holes are barely big enough to fit the screws issued, I had to DIY and cut the leather with a knife for every hole to make it fit properly. -The instructions could be better but you can figure it out. -The massager is very loud and more just for here say. Although there’s a lot of cons, I mean overall the chair is nice those are just issues I had with it but I’m pretty good with those things so it didn’t affect me very much but it can be very frustrating for others. ... show more

  • Not in working order
Color: Blue
First the product took 2 weeks longer to get it which I understand it's not there fault. I get the chair assemble it and half of the chair doesn't light up which really upset me for Christmas but in the end the customer service was good, they kept communication open until in the end the gave me a refund but to be honest my son likes it so much I'm sure I'll end up buying another, I hope the next one work's ... show more

  • Beware, lights might not work
Color: White
Left side of the seat didn’t work out the box, and I started to send it back. However, the seat is very narrow and not made for the likes of a 250lb wide rear. Use a rear cushion was all that was needed. And since the lights can’t be seen while sitting, I opted to keep it. But having defective lights seems to be a running trend. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it’s a pretty cool chair and it serves my needs well. But before setting up and throwing out the box, do plug in the lights to make sure it work ... show more

  • You get what you pay for.
Color: Blue
What can I say? There were no instructions on how to assemble it, so it took two hours. It leans to the left, and the base isn't wide enough for the chair so when you go to scoot forward, you end up tipping the chair over if you're not careful. So, not very comfortable. But man it looks cool. When you plug in the massager (basically the chair vibrates, don't expect anything like a spa chair where it kneads you like a piece of dough), and plug in the lights, and put the foot rest out you can almost stand to sit in it for three hours. Then, your butt falls asleep. 3/5, it is a chair, it can be comfortable enough, and it was cheap as hell. It does what it needs to do for the price. ... show more

  • Buy it if you are contemplating
Color: Blue
The instructions were terrible but the quality of the chair and look of it is RIGHT ON. My lower back has been messed up for years and I just want to lay back after a hard days work with sometime of relaxation - This chair is exactly that. The vibrating pillow is definitely a highlight but even more it looks GREAT. The lights take this chair to a new level. Initially I bought it for gaming on Xbox but I honestly might by another one for the office so that way I don't have to drag it back and forth. Definitely a good buy, shipping was ahead of ETA. ... show more
