I purchased this item to start my electric start portable propane fueled generator. I live in west central Florida on the coast. We suffered two hurricanes back to back. Lost power for 288 hours combined. Started the generator 144 times. Didn't have to charge it once. Battery level only dropped to 50% after all that. I keep the jump starter in the car just in case. The battery in my car was 5 years old. Pretty amazing for Florida. Came out of the store yesterday and it would not start. I used the jumper to start the car. wasn't sure if it would really start a car engine. Spun it like a top. Car started instantly. I highly recommend this product. It has rescued me twice.

Talking about being self-sufficient, this does it for me when I am traveling. Great design, sturdy materials, easy to transport and fun to use for a not so fun problem. Love that it has additional USB charging ports as well and a case for all of it. Very efficient and easy to move from vehicle to vehicle and offers an additional peace of mind safety factor during storm season here in Florida. This little jump starter is perfect to have in the trunk of your car or in your toolbox. It’s powerful enough to start up something as big as an SUV and something as small as a lawn mower. It has a USB 3.0 port for charging accessories, a flashlight, and a USB-C charging port to charge the device itself. The case is nice, separating the cables from the jump starter with a zipper pouch. As for connecting it, there is an indicator that will show you whether they are connected properly or not. For about the past 10 years I used an old-school, Glore JNC 660. It weighs about 20 - 25 pounds and when I bought it the price was close to $200. It still works great but now lives in my garage since I'm not up to lugging it in and out of the car trunk these days. I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical about this purchase. I generally try to buy from well known American companies but it is next to impossible to find anything not made offshore. NOCO, one of the better known products of this type used to claim made in USA but that no longer seems to be the case. Besides, this unit was half the price of a comparable NOCO, had better specs and came with a nice zippered hard case. To top it all off, it weighs just over a pound. I bought it about 6 months ago, charged it and then it sat in the trunk until I needed it yesterday to start a car which I know needs help starting after going unused for long periods (yes, I know a new battery would probably solve that problem). Connection was simple and foolproof. The car started, first try, within two seconds of turning the key. All without any backstrain! Of course it remains to be seen how long the Gooloo holds a charge and what its service life will be but so far I'm very satisfied. UPDATE 1/29/2024: It has been about 6 months. I've used the unit twice and it continues to work quite well. Stored in the trunk of my car, it still indicates that it is fully charged. So far, I remain satisfied,

Just used this for the first time on a garden tractor. The thing sits between mowings & often the battery is completely dead. Attached this to the terminals & it started up immediately, even without using the "Boost" button. Very handy.
