The media could not be loaded. I was amazed so see this product arrive as I had imagined it would have been much larger based on ones I've had in the past (10 or more years ago). It almost looked like a toy to me, so I had to immediately take another look at other reviews. I didn't find anything really negative, so I kept at it for this review. When I tested you can see from the photos that my car battery is in really strange place. Lincoln's 2014 MKZ hybrid has the battery in the trunk. That is why you'll see carpeting in the area where the battery is kept. It is really easy to access the battery from the trunk to jump start it. Just as easy is what I had to do with the Gooloo GP2000 Jump Starter to use it. First thing I had to do was to charge the jump starter's battery. I connected it to the white charging station shown in the video for a fast charge. You can see the screen on the charging station switching from 20 (for a table light) to 40 in fast charging the jump starter. We need all four blue lights to be solid before using this. The manual indicates it might not even work if it is at the 2 light or 50% level of charge. It didn't take long for all four lights to move from three to four solid blue steady glows. The jump charger will also let you change your phone and other devices with one of the two USB A ports. When the jumper finished charging, I then tested the flashlight. The flashlight works by long-pressing the on button for three seconds. Once on, it will toggle from on, to fast-flash, to slow-flash, and then off. One of the photos shows everything connected to the actual battery. Once you plug the cables into the charge block it turns red and goes blank to let you know nothing is checking out. Then you connect the red cable to the + positive pole and the black to the - negative and the light should turn green (see the photo) to tell you everything is OK and to fire up the car. It is that simple. If you don't get a green light, it is time to pull out the well documented and illustrated booklet to see what the non-solid green lights indicate and go from there. I never thought that I’ll need a car jump starter. I used to rely on cables, and on my AAA service to bail me out. But functionality improved and prices went down, so I got a jump starter from the same company, but with lower power. I like the old one, and it served me well, not only when I forgot my sliding door open, but also when I needed to charge my mobile when camping. Since a family member doesn’t have a jump starter, and I saw that the manufacturer upped the star power, I had to get this Jump Starter. Indeed, technology advanced quite a bit in two years. A 30% increase in power while dropping the weight of the unit by 3 oz. Most likely the main gains were in the battery. Charging is easy, just be prepared to wait a bit since this has a large capacity battery. If the manufacturer kept the same design rules, I know that it will last more than 3 months. Although for good measure, I’ll keep the recharge schedule to 3 months interval. Nice case, and it has the accessories needed. This is a nice multi-functional unit that comes in a goo semi-hard zippered fabric case. The case holds everything easily without having to stuff everything in. The unit has flashlight function that also strobes or flashes SOS, and it also functions as a powerbank. Charging the unit if via USB-C cable which is provided. The jump starter has a charge display of 4 blue LED lights. A good little unit, I cannot fault it. Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. We have a cub cadet that seems to blow through batteries. She's an old girl. We keep this little charger in the barn along with our other work machines. We all work hard around here and don't have time for dead batteries. My husband charged this up...even though it had more than half charge when receiving...and hooked it up to the lower. Bingo! Started it up without a hitch! The cables are nice and long and the cable end attach easily and firmly. He wants to get another one for my car. She's 8 years old and still gets me where I want to go. Such a worry wort but I appreciate it. You see...I got a battery during lockdown and all they had was a one year battery for $200. I about had a cow but had to do what I had to do. Anyway he thinks I'm living on borrowed time and I refuse to get another battery when I got this one checked a couple of months ago and it was less than half way depleted. But this little charger would help me out in a bind if anything should happen. Or should I say " not " happen. It's small and compact. Would fit in the utility box inside of my hatch. These, while they are amazing to use, you must have some kind of charge in your battery already. So whether you want someone to jump start you and just let their battery charge yours for a minute or two and THEN use this if your battery is dead or whatnot...you have to have at least some charge in that battery.
