I live in mn and this has no trouble starting dead vehicles in the middle of winter pulling the jumper out of the ice cold truck it doesn’t care how cold it is, always performs! I keep it plugged into the charger all the time, (it shuts off when fully charged) so it's always ready in case I need it! Once in a while, if a door doesn't get closed all the way and the battery goes low/dead (interior lights) It's right there easy to get to and pop the hood hook it up and go! Most of the time it's a neighbor or someone else who needs the help, so, I'm usually glad to help, and easier than dragging out and hooking up the JUMPER cables! Saw this on the Project Farm YouTube channel, was highly recommended as do I! PS, to the people who are leaving poor reviews because of the SHORT cables, a little common sense goes a long way! Think about extending your reach, also use the power button where it seems to not start what you want, oh reading the instructions goes a long way, which I found after I thought I knew what I was doing too LOL ... show more

It's the best jump starter I've ever had. I see people trying to jumpstart other cars off their battery. I stop and ask them if they need a jump. They usually say not really. We're trying to get it going now. I then get out the jump starter and walk over there and tell them disconnect the cables and I'll get you going and they look at it and say that little thing see. Yep I hook it up. Tell him to turn the key on and started it. It's always started the vehicles and they are amazed. Most people take a picture of it on your camera. He asked me where I got it from. I tell them Amazon they said I got to get one. It's a lifesaver. Well worth the money. ... show more

I bought this charger back in May in anticipation of a road trip. I charged the GP3000 as directed and then stuck it in the car. There was fortunately no need to use it on the road trip. Fast forward to 5 months later and one of our cars (4 cylinder, 2 liter engine) had an unexpected dead battery. The battery seemed to be dead-dead -- no starter click or anything. Gooloo GP3000 to the rescue: -GP3000 battery indicator showed 4 bars -plug in the jumper cable adapter into the battery pack -connect red clamp to (+) battery terminal -connect black clamp to (-) battery terminal -jumper cable indicator light was solid green (this was surprising because the car battery voltage was < 10 V when I measured it with a voltmeter -- I was expecting a blinking green which means you need to press the BOOST button) -car started immediately -4 bars remain on GP3000 I hope this jump starter holds up over time. But as it stands, it has pretty much already paid for itself. ... show more
