I’ve gone through a few portable inflators over the years, and this one feels more thought out than most of the cheaper Amazon options. The biggest thing I noticed right away is how much faster it fills tires compared to the small single-cylinder inflators that struggle and overheat after one wheel. The auto shutoff feature works accurately enough for normal use, and the digital display is easy to read even in lower light. I mainly bought it to keep in the truck for topping off tires during temperature swings, but it’s also been handy for bikes and random stuff around the garage. Battery life has been solid so far, and I like that it doesn’t feel toy-like. The hose connection and overall construction feel more durable than expected for a portable unit. Noise level is still pretty loud — but honestly every inflator in this category is. My only real complaint is that the storage setup could be better. Once everything is unpacked, fitting the hose and accessories back neatly takes a little effort. Also, the PSI reading seems to fluctuate slightly while inflating, although the final pressure has been accurate when checked with a separate gauge. Overall, it’s a useful thing to keep in the vehicle and feels like a noticeable upgrade over the bargain inflators I’ve used before.

Before leaving a review, I wanted to thoroughly test the Gooloo A5. Since purchasing it, I’ve used it to both inflate tires and jump-start vehicles. So far, it hasn’t let me down. The unit comes in a nice, compact carrying case with several additional air-inflation attachments. The jumper cables are also compact and grip battery terminals securely. Out of the four vehicles I’ve jump-started, three started on the first attempt. When it comes to inflating tires, you’ll need a little patience. It gets the job done, but it isn’t particularly fast. Also, be aware that the unit gets HOT while inflating tires, so use caution when handling it during or immediately after use. I keep a bag in my vehicle with items for roadside maintenance & emergencies, and I wouldn’t leave home without this device. If you’re looking for a compact and efficient combination jump starter and air pump, I highly recommend the Gooloo A5. My only real complaint is the charging time. It takes longer than I’d prefer to fully recharge the unit.

Small but powerful enough to start a pick up with a completely dead battery. Stays charged a long time. This is handy and I keep it in my truck for the just in case situations

I am editing my review. After GOOLOO read my review They contacted me and have processed a full refund. I am very Impressed. Clearly they stand behind their product. Anyone considering this brand should buy with full confidence that they are getting good value for their money! Worked well about 4 times. I was using it to air up a front tractor tire that has a slow leak. The fifth time it started to make a funny noise after a few minutes. Today the funny noise continues and it put no air in the tire. Also.. the pressure gage is inaccurate and does not correctly indicate the air pressure in the tire. Sadly, my Amazon return window closed two weeks ago. So I need to buy another unit but my next buy will not be any item from this brand.

Got this to carry on my jeep.... way easier and safer than jumper cables, that can be dangerous in the wrong hands. Are hard to handle alone, cause sparks, burns, trip hazard and you have to get vehicles lined up to reach each battery Used on my pickup, is a gmc 2500hd, battery was so dead, no lights on dash, no power... is a 6.0L has engine....started immediately, like it had a new battery! It's idiot proof! cannot connect backwards, won't work. Haven't tried to air up a tire yet. Or charge my phone...emergency flashlight works well... this should be maintained and kept in your vehicles. This is highly recommended.
