This is a great anti theft mount for google Doorbell Battery! It fits great in my door and doesn’t cause any issue opening or closing. The only downside to this is 1) the directions are horrible like others have said and it does not tell you how to get your doorbell out of the point. You need to use the little skinny tool that comes with the doorbell on the top to push it out of the casing. That is the downside to this mount is if someone has that key to push it out they can just come up to your door and take it out that way. Very small chance but still a reality

Does exactly what I was hoping it would do. Allows me to adjust and record from various angles on either side of my apartment door. When it comes time to remove the doorbell for charging, you will need the original key that came with your Nest Doorbell, you simply slide it into the slot on the top of the mount and apply pressure. You will feel the camera come dislodge from the mount. The manufacturers need to add these instructions as it seems a lot of folks are confused about that.

Bought this then ended up the app was so broken that I could not even install it. Also google seems to feel its ok to ask people 1000000 questions before you can even get started, just to find out the app is broken. Google can you please care about people!

I would love to be able to use this mount, the portion that you put the doorbell on is pretty nice with it's adjustable angleing, but the actual mount for the door has a manufacturing defect. The turny screw won't go in any farther than the attached photo no matter what I do, I had to force it to even get it that far in and another friend tried as well, so the door mount is completely useless. Will have to return this.

Mount was good, but my doorway was a bit too narrow for it. If it worked, would have been good. I'm sure there are situations when it would work with the proper doorways, in which case it would be a good item to have!
