I got this lamp to use on my computer desk to reduce charging block clutter on the power strip and to have nice diffused light that is bright but not too bright. This lamp checks all the boxes. The 2 USB charging ports work great for my phone charger and tablet charger so I can have them right next to me on the desk without having a tangle of cords coming from the power strip that powers my computer. I haven't really used the actual 110 outlet that in also installed on the base but I like having it as an option. It comes with a small LED bulb that is the perfect brightness and it has lasted me a while so far. I expect the bulb to last a few years, the same as all my other LED bulbs around my house. An important reminder that the switch on the cord turns the entire thing off and on so don't bother with that if you want to charge things while the light itself is off. I just use the pull chain to turn the light off so the USB's stay active even with the light off. I totally recommend this lamp to anyone who is looking for a good one for their nightstands, sofa end tables, desks...wherever you need a nice light with additional power options. I will definitely be ordering another one at some point when I get some new nightstands for my bedroom. ... show more
