This kit contains only the headlights. There are no wiring harnesses, switches, or instructions. It will work as a replacement for existing headlights or if you are going to run your own wires or if you have a wiring harness kit. It does not include the tail lights. The headlights are led in a frame designed for only the EZGO TXT early models. It will not fit in the newer EZGO TXT carts. The kit includes a template which you tape onto the golf cart to position where the headlights are going to go. There are perforations to remove the open areas, and after it is positioned you can use a marker to trace the outline. Some people cut the plastic directly while the template is attached, but it tends to move around too much and I prefer to mark the area to be cut out and then remove the template. You will be cutting into the front cowling of your golf cart so it's important to get it positioned right and do the cut carefully. You only get one shot at it. I used a Rotary tool which allowed me to control the cut very precisely. Some people recommend using a jigsaw but that has the tendency to wander off the line especially on turns. After you got the cut out, the headlights simply slips in and uses the included screws to screw right through cowling. Note that these screws are countersunk but not custom for the headlights so they will not fit completely flush. They are black on black so they're hard to notice unless you get close up. From there you follow the wiring for a harness kit you've got, or make up a DIY wiring harness. I like that there is a heat sink on the back of the Leds because these tend to get pretty hot. They are also spring-mounted which help them not to get damaged when your golf cart is running on rough terrain. ... show more

    • Great upgrade for your golf cart
I bought these headlights for my older EZGO TXT golf cart after my standard headlights quit working, and they ended up being a great replacement. They fit perfectly into the same cutouts where my old headlights were, which made the install much easier than I expected. The installation was simple, and they look really good once mounted. They give the front of the cart a cleaner, updated look without making it feel like an overdone upgrade. The fit was spot on, and everything lined up well. The biggest difference is the brightness. These lights are super bright and really light up the road at night. Compared to the old standard headlights, this is a huge improvement and makes driving the cart after dark feel much safer and easier. The quality feels solid, and they seem built well for regular golf cart use. Just make sure your cart is set up for 12V, or use the proper voltage reducer if you have a 36V or 48V cart, so you do not burn the lights out. These are great for an older EZGO TXT golf cart.     • Bright, Easy Upgrade for EZGO TXT – Great Fit and Solid Quality Headlights
I installed this headlight kit on my EZGO TXT (2008 gas model), and overall I’m very satisfied with the results. The fitment was spot on for my cart (1996–2013 TXT range as advertised), and the installation was straightforward once I lined everything up. The included wiring harness made things easier than expected, and I didn’t need to do any custom modifications beyond basic mounting. The 3-pin connector design feels secure and well thought out. Brightness is excellent—these LEDs are noticeably brighter than my old halogen setup and provide a clean, wide beam pattern that actually makes nighttime driving comfortable and safe. I also like that they feel “DOT-style” bright enough for street use around the neighborhood. Build quality seems solid. The housings feel durable, and the IP68 rating gives me confidence that rain and washing won’t be an issue. I’ve driven through wet conditions already with no flickering or moisture inside the lenses. The only minor downside is that the instructions could be a bit clearer for beginners, especially regarding wiring for carts that didn’t already have a factory light kit. But if you’ve done any basic 12V wiring before, it’s manageable. Overall, this is a great upgrade for the price—bright, reliable, and a clean factory-style look. I have an old EZGO golf cart, and the headlights were just in awful condition. The tail lights, for whatever reason, were still in good condition though. So, finding just the headlights was nice. The installation was pretty simple, since past wiring was present. They look great. They work great. They are really good quality.
