Easy to use and set up but could be so much better with a quick lock on off type attachement as if not riding with bags, this thing is in the way. Still working on figuring out how to make it easier on/off.

My application for this item is different from what it is actually intended. Instead of attaching to a golf cart, I ordered this to use in a golf bag storage shelf that I am building. What better way to neatly and securely lock golf bags in place on a shelf in my garage? The unit comes disassembled in a 16" x 11" x 4" box. all the individual pieces are protected with bubble-wrap to prevent scratches. A bag of hardware and an assembly instruction sheet are provided. The steel components that make up the cross brace are fairly heavy gauge - strong enough for a golf cart so more than strong enough for my stationary storage shelf. Each end of the cross brace is designed to clamp onto existing 1"-square tubing on a golf cart. The golf bag retaining straps work exactly like the lever-lock straps that are typical on golf carts. The unit is very well designed, and the fact that it comes disassembled makes it versatile.
