This worked for me: 1) Press the small reset button on the backside of the lock (below the batteries) for 5 seconds, get a longish beep 2) Wait for the lock to cycle through its initialization sequence (unlocks, locks, eventually stops after a few seconds) 3) press the reset button briefly and hear two short beeps (beeper is not loud) 4) enter your code on the front 5) press the Unlock button once 6) enter you code again and press the Unlock button once, you should get a green blink above the keypad Again, this worked for me and i HAD to use a 6 digit code. Lost a bunch of time trying to do 4 digit code, but that did not work for me. Lock seems to work pretty well for the money. Overall I'm pleased. took a look at the instructions before all this, but the poor English got me to go it on my own.....

I found the "set" key. As others pointed out the instructions are not very good. In order to set a code the instructions say to use the "set" key then set a code.... Well the "set" key is actually the same as the reset button on the back. Instead of holding it down for 5 seconds to reset to just hit it once, it will beep twice then enter your code and hit the unlock button then reenter your code and hit the unlock button again. it will beep and blink green if set correctly.

You don't have to bore an extra small hole above the existing hole in your door. It's still secure, but I wouldn't use it for the main exterior door. I have this installed on my garage entry door. This lock replaced a Schlage keypad deadbolt in which no one could remember the code. Installation was very easy and setting up the passcodes and fingerprints was even easier with the TTLock app. It looks great and has a modern lock. The voice is loud and clear, and everything functions as expected.

I recently purchased the GOLDENKEY Smart Fingerprint Door Lock, hoping to enhance the security and convenience of my home. However, my experience with this product has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. First and foremost, the installation process was an absolute nightmare. The instructions provided were poorly written and lacked clarity, making it difficult to understand the necessary steps. Even after consulting online resources, I still struggled to install the lock correctly. It was overly sensitive, requiring precise adjustments, which proved to be a time-consuming and frustrating task. But my troubles didn't end there. Just a few days after installation, we experienced our first rain shower. To my disbelief, the lock malfunctioned and became completely unresponsive. Despite the claim of being weatherproof, it failed to withstand even the mildest of weather conditions. The lock was rendered useless, leaving my home vulnerable to potential security breaches. Furthermore, the fingerprint recognition feature was unreliable at best. It often failed to recognize registered fingerprints, forcing us to resort to alternative methods of entry, such as using a physical key or the accompanying mobile app. This defeated the purpose of having a keyless door lock in the first place and negated the convenience it was supposed to provide. I reached out to customer support for assistance, hoping for a resolution to these persistent issues. Unfortunately, their response was slow and unhelpful. It took several days for them to respond to my initial inquiry, and their suggestions were generic and ineffective. It was clear that they lacked the expertise and dedication to resolve the problems I was facing. In conclusion, the GOLDENKEY Smart Fingerprint Door Lock has proven to be a complete disappointment. From the sensitive installation process to its inability to withstand even the slightest rain shower, this lock has failed to meet the basic expectations of a reliable and functional smart lock. The fingerprint recognition feature is unreliable, and customer support is woefully inadequate. I would strongly advise against purchasing this product, as it simply does not deliver on its promises.

The media could not be loaded. I have read this manual from cover to cover. I installed it and everything worked fine as long as the key was inserted. The second that I remove the key, I am unable to lock or unlock the door from the inside. I can’t do it manually or by using the button. This is pointless and I feel cheated!
