I purchased this jacket after reading customer reviews. It was mainly for my trip to Ireland as I needed a warm & waterproof jacket. Ordered a size large because I would be dressing in layers with a sweater or sweatshirt. It was a little big on me, I’m only 5’ tall so the sleeves were too long, but it helped keep my hands warm. Only 2 minor flaws. #1: It does make a crinkly sound as one reviewer stated. #2: The inside pocket of the fleece jacket has a small hole at the bottom. If I didn’t notice it, I could’ve lost any small item that I would’ve put in there (see photo). ... show more

I felt this was a good jacket, but it does run small. I recommend sizing up if you don't want a snug fit. This is a medium weight jacket that will keep you very warm. I was searching for something lighter.

Pluses: Color - Beautiful wine red color Fabric - Sturdy and appears wind and waterproof as advertised during a try-on. Liner - Nice plush liner jacket Misses: Hood - The hood was floppy and obstructed my view when I was trying on the coat, and I did not feel confident in using it while active. Shoulders - The shoulders were not cut as generously as some other coats for a similar price point.
