  • Quality T-Square
First of all, the tool came boxed and packaged in what I can only describe as an indestructible cocoon; which I like right off the bat. You can tell it is a high quality tool from the feel of it. Just like my papaw always taught me "when you have the right tool for the job, you can feel it." You can tell by how easily the T-head bolts onto the ruler body that it is a quality made tool. The scribing holes are a true time saver, but can be a little difficult to see from certain angles. All in all, this is a very nice tool, and a must have for any woodworking shop. It gets plenty of use in mine. ... show more

  • Not just for woodworking, sewing patternmaking bonus!!
First let me just say that the packaging this came in is superior!! You can tell it was manufactured and packed with care and quality. I originally ordered this to measure and mark an upcycled Ash table top that I wanted some accurate lines before I cut and I was so impressed with this TSquare. It is really robust and has a great weight to it. You know when a tool has a hefty hand feel to it? This is it. I was worried that since you have to screw the two pieces together that it may not be square, but it is so well cut and the inset ruler piece is aligned with precision. Once you tighten the four screws, it is solid. There are so many scribe holes for you to run the perfect line mark down your project down to 1/32nd of an inch. I appreciate that they made it 24 inches long too. The edge also, for me anyway, ran so smooth down the side of my wood edge, no shifts or wobbles, so perfectly straight lines. I will say that the scribe holes are small so I had to use a mechanical pencil with a bit more lead pushed out of it, but otherwise no issues. Now, I am also a textile artist and this has been so perfect to use for creating boxy patterns with seam allowances, pleat measurements and markings, and to use as an edge for my rotary cutter and cutting table. Because the edges of this ruler slope or roll off on the sides, you run less of a chance on rolling over it with your marking, chalk or cutters. And because it hooks on to the edge of your table/desk it doesn't move under the pressure of your second hand like some quilting rulers do. BONUS USE! It's now in my studio instead of my garage. ... show more

  • High quality, fantastic option.
The media could not be loaded. When I demonstrate that it's not exactly square in the video, I'm really picking nits here to the point of being an idiot, but I have to show what I find. It's sooooooo close it makes me doubt my control square which I use and trust daily and have for years. I don't have the room at the moment to do a proper triangle test of the entire length, and frankly given how close this is, I doubt it would reveal anything. However, at the end of the video I do a line test against my trusty, and it's more than accurate enough. It's a fantastic rule that is quite well made. I wouldn't hesitate to pick one of these up and get to work. I will have no problem using this for critical work, so there's that. The only thing I'd like to see added is a single hanging hole at either end to make storing easier. ... show more

  • Perfect T square
You can never have enough T's imo. And this small sized one has been a life saver on a few projects right out the box. The square itself is lightweight and an easy assembly but do t let that fool you its a small beast. Open holes along the rail for measurement markings make this a great tool. The square is well perfectly squared for level lines. All for the perfect finish to any project. Fast shipping Great price Amazing quality 5 📏 📏 📏 📏 📏 all day long ... show more

  • One word QUALITY
Picked this up to help cut up an old laminate desk to make some small shelves and I am very impressed. This thing is rock solid. Incredibly smooth glide accross the surface. I have a off brand scribing square and it looks like I was making lines during an earthquake when I use it so I can tell u right now this thing is just beautiful. Because the holes are so small I had to go buy a felt tip pen to use. Picked up a 0.5mm ultra fine one and it worked great. A mechanical pencil would also work if you need to write on something like bare wood that might chew up the tip. Put together pretty easy. When you're assembling don't tighting the screws all the way as you go. Use your standard criss cross pattern when tightening. Go until snug then next etc. When they are all snug then go tightening and it will auto align perfectly square. When scribing don't apply pressure with the pen. Instead just gently hold it and apply pressure at an angle on the "T" end to guide you and one or 2 fingers to help the part you are trying to mark. Excellent craftsmanship and a fine piece of equipment 5/5 ... show more

  • Very sturdy straightedge/t square
This square is cast aluminum and is very solid. Dropping this would likely not bend it, since it is so well made. The finish is also good and does not scratch easily. The markings go down to 1/16 of an inch. All markings are very clear. There are corresponding holes for mechanical pencils so you can make a straight line by inserting the pencil and running the entire square the length of your work. It is excellent for marking/cutting large pieces of vinyl, acrylic, leather, etc. Very sturdy aluminum. You should never need to replace. ... show more

  • Measuring no longer the problem
I have often felt like the results of my woodworking / building / hobby efforts were - as my dad would say - "close enough for government work" ... well this t-square moves me towards a much better chance of moving the bar more towards perfect results. Having previously relied on tape measures, stainless steel rulers for measurements, I never felt I would do better than 1/8" accuracy. This square allow me to easily mark with a precision of 1/32". Don't get me wrong, I realize that I need to also improve my cut / join accuracy as well. But I should now be able to eliminate my inability to mark lines / measure as being one of the contributing factor to my bad outcomes. If you feel that your current methods of measuring play a role in some poor results, this should help you a great deal as well. ... show more
