This is a very interesting light and will fit both contemporary and traditional décor. It is reasonably well made and not overly difficult to assemble. The color, fit, and finish are consistent with all of the parts and is esoterically pleasing when installed. I have seen similar designs in lighting stores for more than double the price therefore making this purchase even more attractive. My application was for replacing two smaller lights in one room so I order one to test with and am very pleased with the result. The second one is one its way. PRO: • Beautiful design and appearance • Easy to assemble • Nice that it allows various levels of warmth. • Dimmable • Intuitive remote control with many features • Wires can be plugged in anywhere on the terminal panel • Extra parts as you will inevitably drop one of the small bolts never to be found again • 41W provides almost 4000 lumens at high efficiency CON: • Be careful with plastic threads…easy to cross-thread • would be nice if the remote came with batteries • Connecting the light to the ceiling is very tedious. Would be very helpful to have slotted fixtures allowing you to thread the mounting bolts into the brackets before you attached the light to the ceiling, instead of having to thread them individually. • Instructions are useless • Mounting base is “contractor-grade” and could be more refined for nicer decor In summary, a good product at a fair price. ... show more

Very pretty. Puts out good air for the small size with 6 settings. Its a little difficult to put together as instructions show drawings only; no written instructions. Overall, I love this little fan.

Love it upon completion but a total buger to put together. Then I had to hire $100 an hour electrician and there was no instructions for him. It was a guess. There were 10 slots to hookup and only 5 electricsl hookups do it was luck of the draw...took lots of time

If you don't have common sense, then do not DIY... the instructions are drawn and unless you overthink it, it seems pretty straightforward. Took me 30 mins to assemble and 15 to install... but I work in the trades and know wtf I'm doing. If you need a video to explain how to assemble then get an electrician.. don't be a smartass and criticize the manufacturer... Straightforward assembly, similar to assembling a 2 year old puzzle.. if you do not have patience then this is not for you. ... show more

The four main bolts that hold the light up are through the bracket that is in the outlet. There are no witness marks on the bracket to give you the line on the bolts. this like can never definitely not be hung with one person.

Many pieces to assemble. Very difficult to attach to ceiling bracket due to lack of space. One more inch of height to the base would improve the installation. And FYI I do not have large hands. Happy with the end result
