These Globe Electric light fixtures are great. They were easy to install with the included hardware. All I needed was a drill for putting in screws but you could do it with a screwdriver. They look way better than I expected and they are a perfect match for our Wyze bulb cameras! These can be mounted up or down. The glass was undamaged and looks great and simple to install. There’s plenty of space behind them to store wire so don’t even worry about that. They attach to the bracket via 2 screws, one on each side of the fixture. Super simple! ... show more

These are nice, big, classy. LED bulb you install should last years, replacing bulb is not simple but can be done. The light seals the bulb area so it keeps bugs and insects OUT. Be sure to couple this with these 4" vinyl siding mounting block. VERY professional look.

These light fixtures look great (my opinion of course) and the large glass 'globe' allows the bulb to emit a lot of light, which is what you want with outside light fixtures. I bought 3 of these in total, they came with what I needed to install them and installation was pretty easy. The only complaint I have is the two M4x10mm phillips drive screws used to affix the 'globe' to the fixture. These are so problematic to install while trying to hold the globe in place. I ended up replacing the screws with stainless steel thumb screws to make the process less frustrating and also tool-free (I don't have to find a screw driver in the future to replace the bulb). I would recommend the manufacturer sell these fixtures with thumb screws. ... show more

Update: we have decided not to use this lamp on our front porch. It’s very big and very heavy and hard to hang & straighten, on our porch anyway. We would return it, but I’ve missed the return date. We can’t wait to install this light. I love the speckled glass. It’s a good size and a nice weight. It’s very handsome. We’ll probably get another one to go on the screen porch. The only thing I don’t like about is we have to unscrew the cap to install a new bulb but, we’ll probably only have to do that once every five years. Plus I think the shape of the outer glass gives it it’s handsome look. ... show more

Cosmetically it's quite attractive. It's fairly flimsy metal but should hold up. Two things to be aware of: (1) it only comes with one set of mounting screws, which may or may not be the right length for your installation depending on how flush your gangbox is. I bought two, and on one I had to cut the screws off, and on the other I had to buy longer screws. (2) If you are mounting on exterior clapboards, the long base makes it a little finicky. On one of mine, I had to drill a new set of holes so it didn't mount over two different clapboards, which would have created a large gap and exposed the wiring to the elements.
