It came already assembled... all I had to do was add the wheels, which didn't take much time. The drawer sides perfectly accommodate hanging files without an extra rail system. I love how the lock locks both top and bottom drawer. Seems well made and use it often. It was easy to assemble, and I'm not great at that stuff. Good value for the money. Only issue was my own doing and that's placing the wheels on opposite of where they should go.

I set up my new 2-drawer file today from DEVAISE. I love it. It's exactly as described and exactly what I needed in my home office. It's the perfect color, perfect design & has an anti-tip feature. Sleek drawers with the no protruding handles nice locking mechanism. The drawers operate very smoothly and without a struggle. The extra pedestal completely prevents tipping forward when you have a drawer of heavy files open. I really like that! The cabinet arrived fully assembled. The only step the consumer must complete is installation of the four casters and the anti-tip pedestal. Easy – Peezy with the included tools and instruction guide with illustrations. Believe me, you can’t fail at this. The features of your product are high quality & designed with the end user in mind. I'm very glad that I ordered this 2-drawer, metal filing cabinet from DEWAISE. Cute and white and modern. I just needed some extra filing space, so I rolled this into a closet. It’s really nice piece of furniture. I didn’t think it would be so sturdy and good looking. It also comes with a set of two keys. I think it’s a good idea to lock up your extra checkbooks and financial papers when you go on vacation. I thought it would be smaller but it’s standard size but not too bulky. They make one that is only 9 inches wide. That’s the one I should have purchased but I am keeping the other one. I rolled it in a narrow closet in the basement and I’m sure I will find things to file or fill it up with. I want to try the 9 inch narrow one. I think it’s a good product I would buy another one if I needed one. You could probably use it in different places because it’s pretty attractive in white.I love the fact that it has wheels. Be aware or you have to put them on. I had my neighbor do it and it was no problem for him ... show more

This is a small file cabinet, which is what I needed. It came astonishingly well packed and the instructions for putting on the casters was straight forward and quick. It comes with two keys and the locking mechanism works just fine. I notice that some people don't like having the files going sideways but I don't mind at all. All in all I am very happy with this file cabinet and seems like a good value. I can recommend it if you're looking for something compact.
