  • Incredible Performance and Control
I replaced my Eero 6+ with the GL.iNet Flint 3, and the difference is incredible. The speed and coverage are noticeably better, and the connection feels rock-solid even with multiple devices streaming and gaming at the same time. One of the biggest advantages is the level of control you get. Unlike the Eero, which locks you into a more limited ecosystem, the Flint 3 gives you advanced features like built-in AdGuard for ad-blocking, powerful VPN support, and customizable settings that are easy to manage through its interface. Setup was simple, but it also offers tons of flexibility if you want to dig deeper and fine-tune things. Build quality is excellent, and I can already tell this router is built for the long haul. If you’re coming from an Eero or another consumer mesh system and want something with more power, privacy, and control, the Flint 3 is absolutely worth the upgrade. ... show more

  • My brother is satisfied with it
My reason for buying: I bought it for my little brother. His review about it is that it’s great and helped reduced the random frame drops on his Quest 3. It was easy to set up but had trouble finding out why some devices couldn’t connect at first. There were many functions that the device has that he doesn’t use. We notice that the range for 6G wifi diminishes if the device is in different rooms. So we left it in his room. Overall, it is a great product. It’s a great quality product, very little lag with great connection on the Quest 3, alright to setup, and could possibly future proofing your future devices in case they use 7G wifi. P.S. We have no devices that could connect to 7G but our satisfaction with the product is immense for our use! ... show more

  • Flint 3 is a great companion for home office at a reasonable price
After 2 weeks of intensive use, I can say this Flint 3 router has everything I was looking for home office: load balancing, failover, multi-WAN, triple-band WiFi 7, and a price tag under $200, which is ideal for me. It also has MLO for using the same WiFi SSID network name on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz. I use the multi-WAN feature with the following connections: - WAN 1 to my ISP. - WAN 2 to my second ISP. - WiFi Repeater connected to my Motorola Android 14 cell phone's hotspot using 5 GHz band. - A mobile modem for 4G LTE network connected to the router's USB port. This Multi-WAN feature works very quickly, switching to another connection when the main connection fails. The WiFi 7 feature works at high speed. From my laptop with integrated WiFi 7, I can use the full speed contracted with my main ISP (600 Mbps downlink, 60 Mbps uplink) less than 6 meters from my router. If there is a wall in between, it is normal to lose approximately 25% of the speed over WiFi, which is normal for any router. Conclusion: I highly recommend this product, which so far works very well and at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • Moved from Asus to GL.iNet
Probably one of the best routers I've had. Honestly, I was a big fan of the Asus routers. But once I upgraded to wifi 7 with an asus router, devices was experiencing disconnections and unreliable connections. This rounter is excellent! It is compatible with older devices, as well as newer wifi 7 devices. I don't have devices dropping out any more and the speed is very fast. I've upgrade my network to 2.5G wired as well. Some features I really like, controlling devices speeds, built in support for vpn per devices, excellent range, support for wifi 7, dhcp control, and built in home guard. ... show more

  • Rock Solid
This router is fantastic. Easy to set up and rock solid. I'm getting great range and performance. Price wasn't bad either. Definitely recommend GL.iNet products and the Flint 3.

  • Better than Flint 2? NO, JUST AS BAD!
I know the processor is not as powerful as the Flint 2 on paper but this works better and has not dropped any connections. Its range is similar to the Flint 2 and I have not noticed any performance issues so far. I run about 30 devices no problem. The Flint 2 was constantly dropping internet connection from my tv’s. Not 1 from the Flint 3 in a month. Speeds are the same as the Flint 2 all across my home. I will update if I see any issues. UPDATE: 10/23/2025 Just like the Flint 2, it has a problem dropping connections especially security cameras. I have to different systems and it never happened with my Motorola combo router. I've only experienced this with the Flint 2 and now the Flint 3. Past the 30 day return. Now a paper weight. DO NOT BUY! ... show more

  • Great Minus Tiny Missing Feature Touted in Marketing
Good router overall, very fast wifi 7 speeds, improved my latency on wireless computer, especially while gaming. Good features, good features, yet simple enough for most to work with on out of box experience. However, missing a headline feature of link aggregation. They advertise it, but it's misleading because there's literally no way to (as of this review) actually do any link aggregation. I got this router to improve speed and latency on my main work and play computer, it did that, it was easy to setup, but I also use my router to stream on my LAN and intended to link aggregate my NAS, but it doesn't do that aggregation. See GLinet's forums if that's a feature you require, because this router won't be for you if so. If you don't need that, this is the right router for most home users trying to avoid their ISP's spying router/modems like I'm using it for xfinity/comcast, because it does it at an IMPRESSIVE price point for being wifi 7/tri-band with MLO. ... show more
