The Giraffe Tools Garden Hose truly lives up to its key advertisements. This is a genuinely lightweight hose that is easy to drag across the lawn and coils up nicely when it's time to put it away. It is highly flexible and performs exactly as promised by being a "Lay Flat Water Hose" once the water is turned off and the nozzle is opened. While I believe nothing is ever truly "kink-free," this hose is certainly very kink-resistant, which is a huge advantage over traditional rubber hoses. The included nozzle is a pleasant surprise—it is well-built and not cheap, working perfectly without any issues. While I am personally more accustomed to a grip-trigger design rather than this firehose-style nozzle, you can't have everything! 2024-07-05 Update: Customer support contacted me and is sending me a replacement. Update to 4 stars, 1 off for getting a hole so early. Let's hope it was a fluke. ------ Update: Hose sprung a leak after only 6 weeks of use! Really loved the hose but this is crazy. Contacted customer support. Still waiting to hear back from them. Updated rating to 1 star. ------------- My 1 yr old expandable hose sprung a leak. I decided to give this one a try. I use my hoses very lightly, but on a daily basis - just to water a few plants. However they do see some sunlight when stored (but not a lot), and I'm suspecting that may have degraded the material. Anyway this hose appears much more durable, it's very lightweight, it coils for storage very easily, and its much easier to uncoil and drag around the yard for watering. A nice sprayer as well. I'm projecting that the outer polyester covering will endure the sunlight much better than my expandable hoses do. I've got two other expandable hoses. As soon as they break I plan to replace them with more of this type. My one and only complaint is with the cheap rubber washers they supply with all hoses (including this one). You have to tighten them real well to completely eliminate leaks. I replaced them with silicon washers. They are only a few cents more than rubber washers and work much better. I bought this hose at the end of June, and I initially really liked it – especially the nozzle. But after less than 2 months of light usage - filling water can to water flowers in window boxes - it has split down the middle - water pours out along the sides. I missed the return window, so I need to buy another hose…but not this one again…very disappointed in the quality. I purchased 2 of these hoses (8/10/24 & 8/18/24). Per the description when I purchased them they come with a 2 year warranty. I babied these hoses. After each use, I disconnected them from the spicket, coiled them from the nozzle end so they would drain as I coiled, and stored them in a dark shed with airflow, out of the sun. How much more should a water hose be pampered? As of 6/16/26, one has burst from the connector and spewed water in my face; the other one has burst along the hose and is spewing/wasting water while in use. Clearly these hoses do not meet the manufacturer's specifications. ... show more

This hose only has a 2-year warranty but right now, I love it. It is so lightweight and easy to handle. I hate the bulkyness of regular garden hose. Hard to find one that doesn't kink or get tangled and so heavy. I always put mine in for the winter so am hoping with good care, this will last more than 2 years. I wish they sold it in 75' lengths and without the nozzle. I don't need a nozzle with every 50' of hose that I buy. Maybe offer it with an optional nozzle. The nozzle does work great. My friend purchased one and that is where I first used it. The picture doesn't really display exactly what it is like. It is extremely easy to wrap on a hose holder. Regular hoses don't like to bend when you try and do that. Overall--I'm happy, donating my old hose to a community garden. ... show more
