Great quality but battery doesn’t last long but it may be a cold weather issue. When the temperature is warm, the light lasts longer. Seller replaced the lights that were bad when I thought it was bad, it would work. I love the amount of light it puts out. Great service from seller.

We purchased the set of 4 light fixtures but they are not charging during the day. They worked fine the 1st night we used them, then they haven't worked since. Does anyone know of any defects with this product? They look very sleek with the outside of the house but we can't seem to get to get them to turn back on. We have had sunshine for over a week now and no recharge:-(

Ok, I'm a solar gadget guy so I was very interested in how well this solar light unit would do. I'm happy to say that this unit impressed me. The size was what I was expecting at about 8"w x 7"h x 2.5"d. The cabinet has a nice modern attractive style and the retro Edison style twin bulbs are pretty cool looking. The unit offers several different settings which most people will like. The amount of light it gives off is dependent on the setting you choose. Setting #1 is the motion detector providing 100% brightness and then reset itself in about 15 seconds. Setting #2 is the motion detector providing about 30% of the light brightness then reseting itself after about 15 seconds also. Setting #3 is a dust-to-dawn setting that provides just the lower 30% light on all night. The trick with all solar items is that they need full direct sunshine for up to 8 hours to fully recharge the internal battery during the day. Bottom-line, you gotta have direct sun if you want it to fully charge. Once fully charged this unit does a nice job of providing nice low or bright light. I just use this light in the #3 dust-to-dawn setting for low lighting that runs the night. Like most solar lights, this one on a full charge lasted most of the night so far. I'm sure it will diminish over time. I liked the control switch on the front side of the unit for easy access. Another thing I liked was that the mounting holes are on the front side and not normal hanging holes on the back. Screws are included but I wanted to use larger and longer screws myself. This is a super low cost solution for providing light when you don't want to spend a fortune calling up an electrician to put in a 110v light and switch. That will probably cost you several hundred bucks plus the fixture cost. Hey, for the cost, I thought this light was a bargain at under $15 for what you get. How long with this light holds up in the elements, only time will tell. Fingers crossed! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

When I first got these, they both worked. Seemed lightweight and smaller than what the picture showed, but it wasn't too big of a deal. It wasn't until I tried installing one on the backporch door.. I realized, it was dead. Completely dead. Which made no sense to me, even tried letting it sit in direct sun and high-beam artificial light(Led) for hours. I didn't pay that much for these toys, so it's not that much of a loss... out of curiosity I opened it. Not with a screwdriver, in there is a 3.7 v 1200Mah battery..why it's so light. A cheaply made solar panel and the board for the motion and power switch. One of the batteries out of the 2 had nearly a full charge and still wouldn't come on. When I bypassed the board and hooked the battery straight into the bulb, it worked! Only one of them, the other one wouldn't come on, for reasons unknown. They are cheaply made, and I am disappointed with how long they lasted, barely a day. Look for better products, even if yours is working now, I promise you... they won't last long.
