  • its a really good monitor for the money
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
i wouldn’t recommend it to someone that doesn’t have at least a rtx 3080. or a rx 6800xt because anything worse can’t really run it on 4k but the monitor is really good it could be better with a higher refresh rate the 144 but it is good and your not really ganna get that on anything worse then a rtx 4080 obviously depending on what game you play but its a good monitor recommend it ... show more

  • Awesome monitor for the price
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
I got this monitor for $399.99, and it’s amazing for the price. I use it with my PS5 and Nintendo Switch, though I also have an LG OLED C1. Sometimes I prefer playing on the monitor so I’m not hogging the TV from my family. The colors are vivid, the HDR is beautiful, and I love the crosshair feature for FPS games. I previously had the Sony Inzone M9, but that one is pricey; in my opinion, this monitor is a better value at a lower price. My previous monitor was an LG 32GN650-B, so even though the screen is smaller, this was a big upgrade. ... show more

  • Gaming teens love it
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
I purchased this for my high school son for Christmas. He and his brother (another gamer) love the monitor. It was crazy easy to assemble and very sturdy. You connect the monitor to the stand with a screw that has an attached piece that acts as a built in screwdriver. I loved not needing to find tools of my own to put this together. The graphics are incredible-very clear and crisp. The refresh rate is a lot higher than regular tv screens, which improves the gaming experience. ... show more

  • Quality control?
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
Pros: - color - response and 144hz - great menu - nice feature set with freesync, KVM, HDMI 2.1 Cons: - worked for a day Great monitor for the price from what I saw: amazing color, nice motion handling, contrast wasn't half bad, and only 2 minutes tuning picture settings to get something I could live with. However, that all ended on day two of owning the monitor. After taking a break from the computer for a quick snack, I come back to a black screen thinking that it simply went to sleep. A little time spent trying to wake the monitor turned into a deep investigation on turning the dang thing on. Outlets tested and known to be good power cords swapped out, it was all for nothing. Day two and the new monitor was dead in the water. Failed power supply, loose solder burned through... Your guess is as good as mine. The return process is started and a different brand ordered. It could be a one off, just a bad lemon, but I'm not trying again if there's a even a small chance that quality control of product has anything to do with this. ... show more

  • Excellent monitor for my needs
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
Wanted to upgrade my older 25" ASUS Proart monitor to a larger monitor capable of 144hz for gaming, while still being good for content creation and not break my bank. This monitor fits the bill.

All the reviews I watch were true I'm glad I bought this. Plus I couldn't pass on that limited price I would be a fool to do so lol.

  • Better than Acer Nitro XV282K
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
**Update-after further usage, I noticed that there was quite a bit of backlight bleed in the upper corners that would distract me during gameplay. Additionally, the HDMI 2.1 was limited to 24 gbps, instead of the full 48 gbps. In a way, false advertising. I returned it.** I bought the M28U monitor but then I found the Acer Nitro XV28K for $50 less. I ordered it with intentions of returning the M28U. Both have their strengths and weaknesses, but I found the M28U to be better overall and worth $50 more. The Acer’s included stand is better. The M28U’s stand is not great and has limited adjustment. Mine caused the monitor to sit tilted, which really bugged me. I bought a $20 after market stand off Amazon for the M28U to solve this. The Acer had worse light bleed and only 2w speakers. The Gigabyte has 3w speakers and they sound better. I also feel like the M28U has a better OSD menu. Taking off a star due to the poor stand. ... show more

  • Amazing end game monitor
Style: 28" UHD 144Hz | IPS | Flat | Height &amp...
Forget about that 1440p Oled monitor. The technology for Oled monitors is not quite here yet. Instead, this IPS is almost the perfect end-game monitor as of 2023. Pros: -Impressive blacks for an IPS, considerably better than a conventional office monitor -Very bright -4k resolution, 144fps -Great build quality -Very glossy and clear finish -Easy to maneuver monitor settings Cons: -Color is not as impressive as my AMOLED laptop. This is expected for an IPS panel. -HDR is not worth using ... show more
