Thank god I was expecting it to be big. It barely made the required height clearance for the motherboard. The card is great appearance-wise and performance-wise. I was conflicted comparing it to RX 7900 XTX since the latter had a 24GB VRAM (8GB more than the RTX 4080 Super), but I made my mind and decided that Ray tracing and DLSS is worth more for now (and since I can't afford to buy a RTX 4090 now). The Gigabyte build is firm and doesn't feel plasticy at all,. The temperature is normal, no overheating when playing demanding games (knowing that the case I use is the NZXT H7 FLOW RGB, so it got a lot of aur flow) and hopefully it will last for a long time. ... show more

    • Be Wary of Dimensions
This is a great graphics card that hasn't even broken a sweat when faced with some of the most intense gaming loads. Make sure you check that you have space in your PC case because this card is BIG. It comes with a support bracket you're supposed to mount to the motherboard, but the mounting bracket would not fit in my case due to optical drive bays in the way (Corsair 400R case). I was able to install the card in a lower slot and the edge just barely touches the top of the hard drive bays, giving it just enough support to not sag. This card also has a pretty steep power requirement, so make sure you've got room for lots of thick power cables. Cable management is a challenge with this. ... show more

The Gigabyte 4080 super doesn’t disappoint! I have this in a Cooler Master NR200, and the cooling performance has been great. Fans have a good balanced profile and are not loud. Additionally I haven’t noticed any coil whine. The performance of this card meets expectations. The only downside was that the seller I purchased from had a 2.5 week delivery date. No stars off since they were upfront about it. Overall, the Gigabyte 4080 Super is a great card, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.     • Worth it
I've had both AMD and Nvidia gpus (no Intel yet), and I'm very glad to be going with Nvidia once again. The AMD cards and I have not had as good of luck together as the Nvidias. This GPU is just a flat out performer for me, is quiet and does not fluctuate with power usage. I am pleased.

    • The most amazingly mehh GPU ever for the price.
I picked this up on what most would consider a sale by today's standards. It's really an amazing card if it were about $1000 cheaper. I mainly use my rig for gaming but some times play around with 3d modeling (very light hobby) and it performs really well. Cyberpunk at maxed settings with some light RT runs pretty smoothly even with collection mods running. Pros: • Runs almost everything I throw at it at max settings in 2k with very stable frames. No doubt you could hit 100fps+ on many games in 1080p maxed. • Raytracing can make games look amazing. Add an OLED panel and your games will look great. • Frame Gen is in there and it can some times look pretty good when you're already getting enough frames to where you probably wouldn't need frame Gen in the first place. • Really quiet, Im not sure if I've ever actually heard it even during heavy game sessions. Cons: • it's freaking huge (that's what she said). Make sure it will fit in your case if you plan on throwing your money away on this. • You can probably find a 5080 that's still over priced but would cost less or equal to this. • can run hot enough to make my room about 5 degrees hotter, great for winter. • the adapter that you have to use to make your PSU cable fit into it just makes it look like sea squid is trying to steal your GPU. • the power cable input slot is in the GPUs but. No clue who thought that was a good idea given how much cable has to travel to get there. • it's VERY power hungry. Had to upgrade my 750w PSU to 1000w because my PC kept shutting down from it sucking up all the juice. Overall, don't buy this card unless you can find it at an impossible price. Get a lower tier 50 series (5080, 5070ti, etc.). The card is nice but not worth the cost in comparison to the value youll get out of it. ... show more

The ITEM is a 5 star! The shipper not so much! I paid extra to have it delivered in 2 days. Took 8. Trying to get a refund on the shipping charge, nothing but crickets! No replies yet from shipper. It's been about 2 weeks.
