Received this before Christmas as a gift for my dad who has severe back pain. As soon as he plugged it into and outlet and turned it on the remote began to smoke and gave off a burning smell. Stopped working within the first 30 seconds. Would have given a 2 star review since they're sending me a replacement, but it won't be in till the middle of January and by that time I could find something much more reliable.

My two complaints are that 1) it's super noisy and 2) the massagers are just a couple inches too far apart to hit the spots they're supposed to. It works, the programs included are okay, for the price it's better than just a heating pad.
